"We have to tell Derek, now."

"But this storm... You can hardly go anywhere."

"Stiles and I will go. Riley, you take Lydia out of here. Somewhere safe."

Riley rushed over to Lydia, who seemed like she was about to pass out. Stiles walked over as well, taking the cord that was wrapped around a stick of some sort away from her throat and throwing it out of sight.

"Do you need help?" Stiles asked, his hand on Lydia's shoulder. Riley shook her head, as she crouched down in front of her.

"No, you go. Before Ms. Blake does anything irrational."

Stiles nodded, and squeezed Riley's hand before running off with Scott to Derek's apartment. Riley sighed, and quickly ripped the tape off of Lydia's wrists. Her head was bleeding, so Riley took off her jacket and held the sleeve up to her forehead, dabbing it lightly.

"Lydia, are you okay? You're coming back to my house. Where it's safe. The hospital is evacuating everyone because of the huge storm. Can you walk?" She asked, and Lydia's eyes wandered to hers as she nodded. "Here, hold this to your head."

She took the jacket and held it to her head as Riley wrapped her arm around Lydia and pulled her up from the chair. Lydia put all of her weight onto her as Riley put Lydia's arm around her shoulders. The two walked a few steps towards the door before Lydia almost fell backwards. Luckily, Riley was already on edge so she caught her with ease, before almost carrying her to the back exit of the classroom, down the hall and across the parking lot, where she saw everyone spilling out of the hall in a terrified rush. Ethan and Aiden spotted the two girls and Aiden rushed over, assisting Lydia on the other side.

"What happened to her?" He asked, and Riley continued to walk over to her car.

"Ms. Blake is the Darach. She tried to kill Lydia, and now she has the sheriff. What happened in there?" She asked, nodding to the flashing police cars that had just arrived on scene.

"A teacher was killed. The piano string broke and slashed her throat open. Coincidence?" He explained, and Riley groaned.

"Damn it. Then the Guardians are next. The sheriff is a parent, so she's after parents now. Fuck, there's so many parents in Beacon Hills! Maybe Ms. Blake took Stilinski because of the feud she has with Scott and his pack. Maybe Scott's mum is next." Riley hypothesised, and Aiden shrugged.

"Maybe. Where are you taking her?" He asked, looking at Lydia who was lazily trying to walk alongside them.

"My house. It's safe. It's surrounded by Mountain Ash. Not to be rude or anything, but I'd rather not have someone who is a part of the Alpha pack to have a sleep over at my house. So thanks for the help," Riley interjected as they reached her car. "But I can take it from here."

Aiden eased Lydia into the passenger seat and buckled her seat belt, where he took her hand. His veins filled with a black liquid as it crawled up his arm and under his shirt. He took away her pain.

"Thank you." Lydia whispered hoarsely, as Aiden caressed her head and kissed it.

"Go." He ordered, and he shut the door. Riley turned the ignition on and backed out, minding the astray people running to their cars and as far away from the school as they could. The radio turned on and sang songs softly, but all it did was give Lydia an even bigger headache than the one she already had. She reached over and slapped the power button, and they were encased by silence.

"You okay Lyds? We're not far from mine." Riley informed, and in a few minutes they were inside her house and up the stairs in her room. Riley sat Lydia on her bed, and quickly ran to her bathroom to wet a wash cloth and dry up the blood on her head. When she came back, Lydia was lying on the bed with her heels kicked as she stared at the ceiling with her eyes half closed. Her hand wandered over to her neck, where she felt the deep cut on her throat.

Riley sat down next to her and lightly wiped her hair back and dabbed at the wound on her head. Lydia grimaced in pain, but she didn't make a sound.

"I'll bandage that up the best I can. I'm not a doctor." Riley said quietly, not wanting to disturb the peace in the room. She could tell that every sound pounded inside Lydia's head because of the trauma, so she tried to make it as painless as she could. Her phone buzzed in her pocket, and it was a text from Aiden, wondering how Lydia was holding up.

To; Aiden

She's maybe okay? I don't know how to dress wounds.
I doubt you would know either since you heal in literally
a second. She's holding up fine. I'm with her.

Riley didn't know what to say; her close friend was probably, maybe, dying from brain injuries on her bed right now and she seriously had no clue. Maybe she should call Melissa? But no, she would be busy trying to get all of the patients out of the hospital before someone died that didn't need to. Maybe Scott would know how to dress a wound.

She got up and walked over to the other side of the room, where she called Scott up, hoping that the thunderstorm doesn't disrupt her signal.

"Scott, I don't really know how to fix Lydia's head. I mean, she seems fine right now, I think, but I'm not a doctor, so I don't know how to do this stuff."

"Look, don't bring her to the hospital, just stay at your house. Stiles and I are following Derek and Ms. Blake to the hospital so they can get Cora from there. She's vomiting mistletoe."

"Why is she at the hospital? I thought she was a werewolf, why is she vomiting mistletoe?" She asked in concern. She didn't really know Cora all that well, but she was still a little concerned as to why this was happening to her. "Isn't she supposed to heal?"

"Ms. Blake did something to her. Derek was going to kill her but she's the only person who can save Cora and Stiles' dad. We're stuck. Look, we have to go now, but make sure Lydia doesn't go to sleep. Tell your parents, maybe they know how to help. We gotta go."

Riley heard the call end as she brought her phone down from her ear and into her pocket. She turned back to Lydia, who was now propped up on her side as she held the wet cloth to her head.

"Thanks for your help." She said sarcastically, and Riley sheepishly walked over and took over for the cloth. At least she wasn't sleeping. "Where's Blake?"

"Don't worry about it, Derek's got her. Right now, we just gotta make sure you don't die, okay?"

Riley sat on the bed with Lydia and her leg was shaking. She didn't know what to do with her. Was she dying? She had no clue. She couldn't take it; she had to do something to help. Wasn't there another hospital down town? Riley never went near that one; it smelt like death and was not very sanitary. But right now, she had no choice. She didn't know what to do. She didn't know if her friends were alive or not. She had no choice but to make a move.

"Lydia, we're going to the hospital." Riley announced, and pulled her up from the bed and put her heels back on her feet.

"I thought it was evacuated." She mumbled, and Riley kept moving towards her door.

"Yeah, it is. We're going to another one." She replied, and opened her door. To her surprise and shock, her dad was standing there with his fist raised as if he was about to knock. His smile dropped as he looked at the limp girl on Riley's side, and gasped as he helped Riley with her.

"What happened to her?" He asked, as Riley slowly let go of her to get her keys.

"She got hit in the head and I don't know if she's okay or not. My guess is not." She explained roughly, as she slipped her shoes on. "And I have no idea if my friends are okay or not and whether or not the Darach has escaped or--"

"Riley, just go help your friends. I'll take her to the hospital." Her dad interrupted, and Riley paused to look at him.

"But it's dangerous! There's an Alpha pack there!" She exclaimed, not caring if she had just revealed the biggest secret in Beacon Hills. Lately, she wasn't sure what her dad knew, since he knew about Emma and what she did. Her dad was full of secrets, and she was seriously going to have a talk with him about it.

"You have Emma. She'll protect you. Now go. Save them." he insisted, as the three went down the stairs.

"What do you know about Beacon Hills?" She asked at the front door, and he smiled at her.

"As much as you do."
