"Say what now!?" I asked, and Jon just watched me intensely.
"I've threw up multiple times this morning, I know I'm not sick, no fever at least, I'm late, and I'm just about to go get a test." She explained.
I got off of Jon's lap, and walked around anxiously, "What will happen if it's a positive?" I asked, nervously.
"I don't know. I'll have break the news to Troy. But what if he leaves me?" she asked, I could even tell that she's almost crying.
I shared a sad look to Jon, who just continued to watch me as I walked around the room, "He wouldn't do that. Troy isn't like that."
She sighed, "What if he doesn't want a kid?"
"He's 28, he's ready." I assured her, feeling bad for my best friend.
"You sure? Wait, can I call you back? I just arrived at the store." She said, hesitating.
"Yeah, call me when you get the results." I said.
"Okay," Chelsea says, before a door closes, "Wish me luck."
"Good luck." I then hung up. I sat beside Jon, and bit my lip, unsure if to tell him or not.
"Everything okay? Was that Chelsea?" Jon asked, concerned.
I sighed, "Yeah, it was Chels. She's just having problems." I shrugged.
"Troy problems again?" he asked.
"Well, sort of." I said, and then kissed him softly.
"I'm going to take a shower." I tell him, and get up. Grabbing a pair of pajamas from my bag, I make my way to the bathroom.
After about ten or fifteen minutes I get out, and get dressed.
When I exit, Jon is waiting for me, he then hands me my phone, "Chelsea called and she was crying, but wouldn't tell me why." he said.
"Oh," I said, and called her back, whispering a thank you to Jon, who smiled and then entered the bathroom.
Chelsea answers, sniffling, "Hey."
"How'd it go?" I asked, nervous.
"It's, um, it's positive." Chelsea says, and I pause, unsure of what to say.
"Wow, uh, congratulations." I say, an Chelsea sniffles once more.
"Thanks, I guess. Im planning on telling Troy tomorrow. I have scheduled a doctors appointment for Thursday, and I'm hoping he will go with me.
"I wish I could be there." I sighed, wanting to be with my best friend at the moment.
She sighed, "No, don't worry about me. Have fun at the wedding with Jon. Also, could you maybe tell him, like, later tonight?" she asked.
"Yeah," I nodded, although she couldn't see, "Do you feel a little better about it?" I asked.
"Not really, just really scared about it. Never been pregnant before." She joked.
I laughed, "Well neither have I, so it's a first."
After a little while more of talking, we hung up. Jon had been waiting, and now he was sitting next to me now.
"Chelsea okay?" Jon asked, worried.
"Yeah, she's fine." I shrugged, "Just some girl things."
Jon nodded, wanting no more explanation.
I chuckled to myself, and Jon smiled to me, "So, tomorrow is?"
I paused for a moment, "Umm, Wednesday?" I said.
