Maybe if I hide, he will think I'm not home, and leave. Maybe if I scream in his face "GO AWAY!!" Then maybe he will cry for his mother and never come back. But then again, maybe that is wishful thinking. I am about to activate plan #1 when a large strong voice enters the room. " Avery Alison sunset! Where are you! "
"Not here!" I reply without thinking.
"Ha! Should I start calling you Miss obvious?" He yells. I can imagine his smirk. I growl and storm down the stairs.
"GO AWAY!" I scream. He pauses for a minute. His face starts to twist. But not in the way I was hoping. He laughs like he can't stop it. Like he really can't stop it.Maybe . . . . . . Just maybe, we could be. . . . ,friends?
"That was weak!" He says finally, when all the laughter has died down.
Nope. We cannot be friends. Ever.
"Not as weak as you!" I shoot back.
He laughs again.
"You need some better comebacks."
"You need a better haircut."
"Hey! Leave the hair out of it!"
We both laugh. I am surprised how satisfying it is to laugh.
Even if it's with Daniel Logan.
