The Elemental Wars - Caged Book 2

Chapter XVIII

Brianna POV

Alaya and I decided to go out and go to the movie theatre, I still had a faint head ache but I stayed hydrated and I went out and got some exercise. My left palm had a elongated crescent scar that Gray had told me that it would never fade because that holds great power now, he hadn't explained anything but I got the point. Something now held power over me and what I do, I could sense that my life was now split.

"Hey." My reverie was cut short as Alaya pocked me in the arm. She smiled and laughed, she waved her free hand as she whispered "Those guys are checking you out."

I turned my head to look to see what she was talking about, a group of wolf boys where looking over at us. 

"Yeah, for diner." When I caught one of the boys eyes he hissed and bared his teeth.

"Oh god. We are so diner." Alaya laughed loudly and lead me off to the other end of the massive cinema. "I wonder what there problem is? I mean normally wolf boys are pretty flirtatious, but those guys looked ready to bight our heads off." She grabbed a piece of salted popcorn from her box and chewed it slowly.

"Oh it's 4. The doors should be open." We crossed back over to room 2, my heart sank as I looked over to see Felix walking over. "Let's go. Now." We rushed into the cinema room and took some seats, the room was mostly empty because it was a relatively old movie that was playing in celebration of it's anniversary. Truthfully I only went along because Alaya really wanted to go see it and Irey was stuck at home, the doctors had managed to save Irey's legs after the crash. So in only three days he'll be up and walking. The last few people walked in and the lights faded until they where off, the screen lit up and I sat back and relaxed.

Ash POV

I looked over at Liam, he was still the exact same person he was when I met him. I wasn't, I studied the small details of his face. He had a small mole on his jaw, his lashes where long and dark, he had the smallest freckles on his nose. His nose was slightly snubbed and his check bones stood out against his pale skin, and his jaw sharp and his lips where a perfect shape. 

"Hey you ok?" Liam laughed and put his arm around me, that made my heart dance. 

"Oh I'm fine. You?" I looked up again to see him looking at me, his eye's where large and endearing. My heart was saying 'go for it' , I ran my hand over his face as I lent forwards. Then Dem burst into Liam's room.

"Oh god. Sorry. I'll just. Um. Yeah." He awkwardly shifted his wait on foot to the other then turned and left.

I did not know what to do, 

"Dem wait up." I got up gave Liam a smile then got up and walked out of his room to join Dem who was standing at the top of the marble stairs. I don't know what I want to say to him but I wanted to talk,

"So... What's up?" I said trying not to be awkward. "Let's go play some X-box." 

He shrugged, nodded, and laughed. We both barrelled down stairs pushing and shoving to try and get the better remote, since one of them has a button missing from the time when Kyle got mad and brook it. 

Liam POV

I crashed back onto my bed and stared up at the selling, and smiled. Oh my gosh, Ash, what? I have to talk things out with Grace, just as I was thinking that, I herd the loud motor of the jeep rumble up the driveway. I took a deep breath, I heaved myself out of my bed and closed my door as I walked out of my room.  I walked down stairs and met Grace at the door,

"Hey. We need to talk." I walked up to my room once again with Grace following behind me, I walked into my room and sat on my bed. She came and sat next to me,

"I feel like we should both take some space from each other. I mean you and Bryce are getting close and well Liam..." I couldn't say it.

"Yeah, honestly I agree. I don't want this to effect every one else in the house. So. Yeah." I watched her walk out of my room, I could tell she was crying. I crashed back, I closed my eyes and listened to my breathing. Inhale, exhale. I tried so hard not to cry but a stubborn tear ran down my face, my nerves where going wild and my checks where flushed. I was allowed to cry, she was my girlfriend for the last 2 years and now I'm living in the same house as my Ex. I need to get up in the morning and see people, go to school and watch Grace and Bryce walk through the halls together. My bed sank a few inches as another body created on my bed, I cracked and eye to see Irey sitting on my bed.

"Hey man." He smiled gently and ruffled my hair as I opened both my eyes to look at him, "You ok?"

I nodded slowly, as he crashed back against my bed. He looked up at the ceiling and took out his phone. He turned it on and opened a video, 

"What's this?" I asked as I stared up at the screen, I cracked a smile. "Oh no. Not this one!" 

"Oh yes it is." Irey laughed evilly.
