*throw back to 11 years old*

it was summer and me and the twins were playing in their pool.

"hey monze!" i turn my head and i see ethan jumping off the diving board and splashing me.

he comes back up to the surface and is laughing. i start splashing him. "that wasn't funny" i said laughing. 

"it kind of was" grayson laughed.

these guys are my best friends, and it sucks that i have to move. i still have to tell them. i will later, this is fun.

we got out of the pool and dried off with towels. we sat on some chairs and ate sandwiches that lisa brought out.

"hey guys?" i asked.

they both looked up at me.

"yeah monze?" ethan said

i opened my mouth to say something but instead i looked down.

"woah, what's the matter?" grayson said.

a tear slipped down my cheek, "i'm moving.." i said.

it was silent. i look up and the boys are looking down too.

"but you can't, you are our best friend" grayson said as we all went in for a group hug.

"i know, i'm sorry" another tear slipped.

*6 years later*

i finally moved back to new jersey and i'm so excited but nervous at the same time.

i wanted to go to the beach today so that's what i did.

i got out of my car and grabbed my bag. the warm sand hit my feet as i walked to a spot to sit at.

there were guys throwing a football next to me that looked like they were having fun. 

i pulled out my beach chair and and went on my phone.

there was a thud in front of me. i looked down to see a football, i looked around for its owner.

a tall handsome guy came over and said "sorr-  monze?" he asked. huh?

i looked up closer and was amazed. "grayson?" i said

i stood up and we hugged eachother so hard. tears were spilling out of both of us.

"woah why are you hugging her gra-" we pulled apart and ethan saw me and i saw ethan.

"ethan" i smiled

"monze!" i said happily. we hugged and i didnt want to let go.

during the hug i pulled grayson into the group hug, just like it was when i left.
