Alright so just a little warning, there may or may not be some smut in this chapter... so if you by chance aren't comfortable reading that you don't have to read this. (Sorry if it sucks.)
"Daaan" I whispered under my breath, my voice breaking the morning silence that had settled over the hotel room like a cold sheet. "You've gotta get up." I added, making Dan groan slightly, as he snuggled further into the pillow. It was still dark, too early even for the sun to rise from its slumber, but I knew how long it took Dan to get ready, and I wouldn't want him to be late.
"C'mon Dan." I mumbled, giving his shoulder a shake. He groaned again, rolling over to face me with his eyes still closed.
"Whaaat?" he whined, his voice croaky with sleep. I peppered light kisses around his face, in attempts to maybe wake him up a little, but his eyelids remained glued shut.
"It's time for school." I mumbled softly, and Dan simply whined again.
"I don't wanna." he replied, rolling over once again so that the kisses were no longer an option.
"Daniel don't make me do this the hard way." I threatened playfully, sitting up with a smile playing on my lips. The half-asleep boy grunted in response, and my smile grew wider.
"Daaaaan!" I exclaimed at quite a normal volume, but in the silence it might as well have been shouting. "It's time to get up!" I added, pouncing on the smaller boy and poking his sides, causing him to make some weird noise between a groan and a squeal. "It's time for school! It's time for school! It's time for school!" I chanted while Dan continued to make sounds of protest.
"Phiiil" he whined, "it's practically the middle of the night."
"It's seven." I chuckled, continuing to pinch Dan's sides while he squirmed beneath me.
"Alright, alright, I'm up." he groaned, sitting up so that I was now practically straddling his lap.
"Good morning." I said sweetly while Dan just looked at me with half closed lids.
"I hate you." he grumbled, unable to keep the smile from his lips as he nudged me off his lap.
"Well I love you." I replied, the grin on my face remaining whilst Dan yawned.
"I love you too." he replied mid-yawn. I smiled and softly attached our lips, before he stood up and made his way into the bathroom.
________________
It was boring and lonely, sitting in the hotel room without Dan. After he left I slept for almost another hour, but I found myself missing his warmth. I missed the way his body fit perfectly wrapped in my arms, or how I could awake happily to his smiling face.
There was absolutely nothing on T.V, so I finally opted for going out into town to turn in my resumes. None of them were very impressive, considering my only other job experiences were a McDonald's cashier and a part-time bookkeeper at the public library, but it was worth a shot. I applied for four different places, and rewarded my productivity with a sandwich from one of the many shops lining the streets.
By the time I made it back to the hotel, and saw that it was only noon, I wanted to groan in frustration. Dan wouldn't be back for another three hours and I had nothing to do. I was of course going to have to get used to this, but hopefully in a week's time I'd have a job, and maybe that would be enough to keep my mind off of Dan for a while.
I emailed Paul, asking about the flats, and have yet to get a response, so I decided to scroll through Tumblr for a little while in hopes to maybe pass the time. It was a good thing that the hotel had free wi-fi, otherwise I would've been forced into watching baking shows, which I had pretty much had enough of. The thought of Dan coming home exciting me this much made me feel pretty pathetic. What was I going to do throughout his entire school-year if I couldn't function properly for eight hours without him? God forbid he go away for Uni, I don't know what I'd do.
