First Day

Chapter 3: First Day

"Get up Raven you going to be late for school." What the heck Mum stop trying to wake me up, wait that's not my Mums voice?! Who's hand is poking my face, it's cold and annoying.

I open my eyes to see Kouro there looking down on me "What the heck! It's Saturday!"

He looks at me and says "It was painful sleeping on the ground."

"Well sorry that I don't have a coffin. And anyway you had a thin...mattress, pillow and blanket." Kouro gets off my bed and sits on the mattress on the floor next to me.

"Look, I'm sorry I tend to be grumpy now and then, don't take it personally."

He looks at me and smiles, I quickly turn away.

I wonder if it's..

Uncomfortable wearing though's jeans they look kinda tight around the legs.

I get up and sneak into my Mums room trying to not wake her up because she will kill me if I woke her up at 6:30 in the morning on Saturday! Unfortunately the floor is wood, that creeks.

'Creeeek' one step 'Creeeek' second step and so on.

I look in Dads draws and grab out some long dark blue sports pants because he is over sea's right now for some sort of job.

I hope that it fits.

When I get back to my room I find Kouro sleeping on my bed, I lean over him and stare. (Wanting to poke his face, for revenge, Moohaha).

After 10 seconds he quickly opens his eyes and grabs me down on the bed so he is over me, and say's "Oh...sorry its just a reflex." Just a reflex?!

It went silent for a few seconds, until I shoved the blue sports pants to his chest and say "Hear, those jeans look uncomfortable put these on they might fit."

Kouro has no answer but "Thanks."

I walk out the room so Kouro could put the pants on, a few seconds later he comes out with the pants on.

"They attually look good on you."

"Really? They seem to be a bit big." Kouro says as he stretches his leg out.

Now I needed to get him out of the house so Mum won't see him, wait Grandma is sleeping in the spare room right? Not on the couch...

I peek around the corner of the hallway into the lounge room where the front door is just a few feet away,

I give Kouro a sign to follow me and to be quiet, we slip past the lounge room and get out the front door.

"Master." Kouro says in a soft voice

"What? And don't call me master!"I try to say in a quiet voice.

Kouro starts to chuckle " You're still in your pajamas."

"What!" I completely forgot I was still in my PJs.

I tell Kouro to wait outside until I come out with propper clothes on. When I walk back into the house quietly, I found Grandma sitting on the couch, so I guess she was sleeping on the couch, she turns to me and says "What is all the ruckus about."

What to say, what to s.. "Sorry Grandma I heard something outside and went to umm.... check what it was." She doesn't look that convinced, damn it, my life is over...

Out of nowhere Kouro walks in, like what the heck I told him to wait outside. He quickly closes the door and says "Trouble Raven! Two Vampires!"

"Raven who's this?.... Is he.." Grandma gives me the stare.

"Grandma I...I don't know what to say." Wait did he say vampires?

Sorry if this chapter is shorter then others I do try to make them sort of longish, Mooohaha!
