Chapter 28: Jumping The Bullet

The area around me bursts into blue flames with my glowing eyes mixing with the colour and light around myself.

Elisabeth takes a step forward, while Greg, Jackson and Kouro move away from the battle field. Kouro leaves a pathetic look and that some what annoys me.
I shock my head to the side while gritting my teeth together.

Elisabeth shoots green magic at me, I dodge to my side shooting back at her. it hits her on left shoulder she cringes from the pain, and a bothered look appears on her face as she runs at me becoming a meter away.

I rip the dress up to mid thigh letting the material fly away. I heat the magic in my hands and aim at her face.
Missing her by inches she grabs my neck trying to suffocate me.

I smile and release a bolt of magic force from my body making Elisabeth fly into the castle wall crashing bricks apart about 10 meters away.

Greg steps in and speeds towards me, I brush my right hand to the side hitting his face and making him unconscious.
"I guess no-one can stop me!" I blurt out.
I turn to the woods to find my way to the helpless villagers that will need to beg for mercy.
I step along a lonely path to find lots of demon friends of Elisabeth's e.g. Vampires, Witches and Werewolves including supernatural beings. They all stand in my way knowing the threat I carry.

SAMMY's perspective:

"You look pathetic... Sammy." Adan 'pretty boy' wallows at me.

"Want do you want?"

"Give me the necklace."

I squeeze the necklace in my hand and I glance at the shiny stone. "I'm coming with you." I say with no options.

I stand quietly and walk past Adan like no-one was there "I'm only helping until Raven is back to normal."

"Fine with me." Adan says raising his shoulders.

The castle gates are open and unguarded, Kouro lies at the edge of the spaces between walls so helpless.

I stride towards him with speed in my muscles "Heeeey friend......" I say cheerfully.

"Shut... up Sammy...." Kouro snaps back.

I reach into my pocket in my jeans and hand him a leaf. "Sorry about before... eats this and you will get better...ish."

He weakly grabs it and shoves it into his mouth then stands up.

"You really had to give me poison that works on vampires." Kouro says annoyed.

"Yep... We need to get to Raven ASAP she has lost all control and doesn't know what she is doing!" I shout with concern.
"You know I was here the entire time."

"Not the point! Btw pretty boy's helping us."

RAVEN's perspective: (Original)

Blood and dirt tints my face as I walk past all the demons that tried to fight back but now on the ground. Helpless gripping to the clothes to ease the pain.

I feel my good thoughts slip away with the dark that possesses my mind.

"Goodbye Raven." I say to myself with an evil smile across my face.

"...ven!"

"Raven!"

I slowly turn around facing the way I came to see two giant dogs one white and one with golden fur running towards me. Two people are riding the golden wolf shouting out to me.

I put out hand towards them and a path of blue/purple flames attempting to burn them.

They jump to the side in a hurry, the dogs run beside the flames and leap toward me.

"Just go away!" I scream letting a shock of magic light shoot to the sky making the wolves miss me by meters, and land unconscious.

The flames on the path died down and Kouro and Sammy stand in front of me about 2 meter away both with the look of seriousness.

I glance at Sammy's hand looking at the necklace dangle.

"It's to late for that. The necklace will have no effect now, I'm too strong."

"Don't lie!" Kouro spits.

"No!....I'm not lying, if you don't believe me then pass it here." I say with an evil smirk.

"How do we know you won't throw it away."

"Fine then you put it around my neck."

Sammy hesitantly stumbles forward while I stand still and wait for the necklace.

He places it gently around my neck and the stone stars to glow, my body struggles side to side as Sammy takes a step back.

"...Haha.. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA etc."

Horror covers the faces of them both, like they already knew it wouldn't work.
"Well...goodbye." I say walking over to Sammy with power accumulating in my hands.

Sammy stands still like he is trying prove something, he thinks I won't hurt him.... we all know I've changed completely.

I become half a meter away and stop watching the scared but cocky face on him, the light in my hands glow brighter.

"Raven, it's your choice." Sammy mumbles.

"I have already chosen."

Like a flash of lightning I release the power blinding anything from the light that has formed.

It's shuts off and the emptiness fills my guts and an ache in my heart to see who is standing in front of me.
