Chapter 20: Who Is It?

I sit under a shady tree hiding from the sun that shines to bright in my eyes.

Something reaches at my mine and my mouth gapes a little, it's my birthday today... I'm now a 18 year old and in year 12... I should of payed more attention in class, Mum wouldn't want me to repeat.

I can't believe I'm in a different world? How can someone just take me here?

I glance over where we had come from, there is a faint stone temple hidden behind trees 100 meters away.

They did a good job of making it modern to my world inside the building, I had no idea I was in a temple.

A crunching of leaves makes its way to my ears, I quickly stand up to observe what's around me.

A little boy emerges from some bushes behind me with a grey wolf.

"Are you alone" The boy says like its not even a question, the wolf starts to growl sending a fears look.

"No... I'm not" I say proudly trying to hold my ground, the thing is I am at the moment. How could they 'both' leave me in a forest full of dangers I have no knowledge about? WHO DOES THAT?!

"Then were are the others" The boy cracks a grin with his eyes flashing with light.

The wolf jumps at me, I dodge with 1 inch to spare, because it's huge! I turn and head in the direction where Sammy and Kouro went.

Some sticks get caught in legs and I hit the ground winding myself.

The wolf springs in the air going to land on me, I stick my hand out to try and block then a powerful force shoots out from my hand blowing the dog away to the ground, motionless.

I stand up with a face dead from expression, the wind picks up and a blue energy swirls around my hands.

The boy takes a few steps back to retreat. He looks behind him like to signal something, but I take no notice and continue to let this unknown energy flow through my body.

The wind circulates around me, hands with a powerful blue glow. I stretch my arm up to shoot this power into the air and blow the boy over with no mercy.

What's happening?! I can't control my body!

The power accumulates into a ball and shoots like lightning, but just in time I am able to nudge my over controlled arm out of the way missing the boy by a meter.

The wind drops as I drop on my butt inhaling and exhaling because dizziness is only what's happening now.

My vision stays clear it is only my body that feels out of place. The little boy stands there stunned he then turns into man, I have seen before.

"Greg?" I say with squinting eyes.

He did not answer, he only falls faint to the ground. Kouro and Sammy run out of some bushes to support the man.

"......." Nothing came out of my mouth only confusion is rattling my brain.

"Huh?"

The grey wolf sneaks up behind me and licks my right cheek, then sits next to me.

Sammy looks over at us on the ground and splits a smile though his teeth showing his fangs.

"You really scared us....Greg has past out completely" Sammy chuckles

"Are you okay?" Kouro adds on to the conversation.

"......" Tears start to develop in my eyes and run down my face, I am scared.

I had no control over what I was doing, even if the little boy...Man was threatening me I wouldn't want to kill someone and.... I love dogs.

Kouro swiftly comes over, but is stopped by the wolf growling at him to stay away.

"You've made a friend." He shortly cuts

"H...how?" I say behind drowning tears

"You must of earned his respect." He slowly puts a thinking face on...again.

"By blasting him into the air?" I place a hand on the wolf hesitantly but still did it.

"I guess you tamed him, funny it's hard to tame though types of wolves." Sammy says leaving Greg on the ground for now.

"The only problem is that that's not an ordinary wolf. It has the strength of 100 men and can understand what we say, Plus the colour of the fur changes in its mood. So when happy the colour is white, Normal is grey and Angry is completely black fur." Kouro chuckles

A groan comes from Greg and I death stare him. "So what's he doing here?"

"It's ok he's on our side. We only wanted to see you ability of defence and what you would doing in a situation like what just happened so we found him and brought him here. But it seems that you scared him more than he scared you." Sammy conspires.

HALF ANHOUR LATER:

I watch Greg start to open his eyes while I sit 3 meters away under another tree with my new pet wolf that is the size of a lion, what should I call him?

Maybe Spot...Pancake? Wait what am I thinking? How about Othello, yeah that's good a strong man from Shakespeare but now a wolf.

Greg sits up and covers his face from the sun with one hand, he peers at me then says "What?"

"Oh nothing" I say sarcastically.

"Ok then." he replies with a sunny smile.

I don't trust him. How do we know that he is still not working with Elisabeth, I have a bad feeling.

"How did you change into a boy?" I ask with confusion.

He lifts his shoulders In a gesture saying "Simple Magic."

"How can you use magic? your not a warlock are you?"

"No no don't worry still a blood thirsty beast. It was an illusion spell."

Not interested anymore I turn my head away and stare at the ground.

"Where did the wolf come from?" I say casually.

"You certainly like to ask questions. He just started to follow me so I went with it like a prop." He says like he is trying to act cool.

Why do Sammy an Kouro keep leaving me alone...in a forest? Then again I am getting hungry and getting food is probably a good idea...where will they get it? They really had to choose me to look over Greg.

A crack of sticks and hard running noises made its way to us.

"Who is it!?" Greg shouts with anger.
