Chapter 24: The Breaking Of A Bond

"What did you do!" Kouro screams.

"Oh Kouro darling, I thought after working with me, you'd know what has just happened."

Kouro struggles to move from the wall he's pressed against by magic. "So it's true you have moved to dark magic." He says unsurprised.

"Well actually this spell was... no your right, a dark controlling spell always has a great effect." Elisabeth finishes off while turning away.

I mindlessly follow with my brain partly awake screaming at me to stop.
Sammy comes up behind me and Elisabeth clicks her fingers together and a girl around my age enters the hall of cells.

She has strawberry blonde hair wearing a leather outfit with heals then Elisabeth releases Kouro from the wall.

The girl enters the cell with Kouro in it but I see nothing else because I'm drawn away from the dark magic that controls me.

Othello barks filling the chambers with deep echoes and Kouro's helpless noise of dropping to the ground and struggling away.

We made our way out of the prison area and stop in a beautiful hallway decorated with paintings and fine curtains.

As we walk past windows I see a glimpse of the outside area.
We are in a castle?

Sammy and Elisabeth stay quiet while I try to find my voice.

"Don't worry about talking. With this spell you can only be told what to do and follow your master." Elisabeth giggles.

She sits down on a black thrown making Sammy and myself stand down the bottom of a few stairs in front of the big chair.

"Hummmm, I wonder what I should do now?" Elisabeth giggles.

"Why don't I go check on how Kouro is doing, I would love to see him suffer." Sammy says an evil grin.

"Fine. Leave us." Elisabeth replies with a flick of her hand.

Sammy disappears from my range of sight, I can only face this 'thing' that calls herself a witch.

"You know what, I might give your voice back. I would enjoy having a conversation on how your world is doomed." Elisabeth hits her staff to the ground and I breath of freedom reaches my lungs.

"Why do you want to so called rule the world?"

"The answer to that question is, why not. And years ago my love was killed by a human." She says with an emotional tone.

"I thought you and Kouro were dating before."

"I latched on to him after the death because he reminded me of my old love. But one day we had an arguement
And I banished him to the bad side of town as his old master. so he wasn't able to leave until some one summoned him and that was you." Elisabeth says finishing off the story.

"So your the one who got rid of my grandmas powers." I grit through my teeth.

"Yes, at the time she was a threat, so I took action but now I know lots more about magic and how to control it."

My hand starts to quiver, trying to break the spell controlling me.

"You know I won't let you use my powers." I say.

"Well you don't have a choice. because you won't be able to resist soon, because after I awaken your true powers you will want to destroy."

"Wait!"

"Because the this spell that's has you now has flaws, you might be able to resist so I plan on controlling the destroying version of you." Elisabeth finishes.

DUN,DUN,DAAAAAA!!!!!!! (sound effects)
