It was a long fall out the window but we safely fell into the dirt watching the sun slowly rise. Finally we made it to day two and were the only humans left in the world.
Trevor noticed a motorboat by the dock and said to us “Let’s get out of here”
We ran to the boat, Trevor leading the way, as mutants and demons ran after us. Once in the boat Trevor drove off speeding in the water. As all of us sat in a state of panic, Alex sat quietly thinking.
Alex pulled out a out a bomb stick and began to light it.
“Are you crazy?” Conny shouted
“What are you doing?” I said to Alex
Alex stood up and blew a kiss at us “See ya bitches on the flip side”
A demon came flying towards the boat at full speed.
“Shit!” Trevor screamed preparing for impact
Suddely Alex jumped up grabbing the Demon wrestling with it in the air causing us to leave her behind.
“Alex!” Trevor called back at her seeing her fall into the water after the explosion
Trevor took me by the shoulders making eye contact “Do you know how to get the orphanage from here?” he firmly asked
“I can try” I replied
Trevor took off his weight T shirt walking to the edge of the boat “I’m going back for her. Protect Tiny” he said before diving into the ice cold water
I took control of the boat as Conny panicked on the floor “We’re going to die!” she screamed
“We’ll be fine” I replied to her attempting to keep her calm, the wind blowing in my hair
All it took was 2 days for everything to fall apart. I had no idea where I was going, how far the lake went or if it was even possible to get there without Alex!
I looked up seeing demons flying towards the boat and Conny looked in the water seeing aliens under the boat. “Conny!” I called
Conny picked up a sword laying on the floor using it as a bat, slicing the demons head shouting “Fuck you!”
I smiled back at her “Its only day two. It’s too soon for us to give up. I’m sure Alex would want us to be strong” I said to her to keep her encouraged
“Yeah!” she replied before looking at the four bags on the floor
“I noticed her face light up as she blurted out loudly “I have an idea!”
Conny began to look through her bag as she explained “I’ll get on the internet on my phone and we can find out which way to go for the orphanage”
I continued driving as Conny looked through her smart phone but then I noticed the gas tank was running low “Oh shit…Conny, hurry up with that information!”
“I’ve got it! Go to the other side of the lake!” Conny replied
I quickly drove the boat as far as it could take us and once we made it to the shore the boat finally gave out. We got out the boat walking through weeds as the sun slowly set. Conny looked back at her phone checking where to go next and as she looked she said “Its really far. Might take the rest of the day to get there”
As she said that, I struggled through the tall weeds but once I saw something move I paused “Hold on…”
I looked back at Conny offering out my hand “Hand me-“ I began to say but before I could finish I saw a zombie standing directly behind Conny
