Fed up with the daily grind of the city life, Paisley and Rosabeth decide to live together in a small town. They pick Sunset Valley to start their new life. However it's not as easy as they think. Paisley and Rosabeth must face the challenges of l...
Paisley was a little disappointed at how Rosabeth reacted. A "wow, Paisley, I love this place and I love you" would have been nice. The hell.
"I thought you would love this house as much as I do." Paisley said.
Rosabeth scoffed. "You thought wrong. We may as well stay in our apartment because clearly this place is no bigger and no cheaper."
Paisley remembered a phrase her grandmother used to always say. "You can get a lot more flies with honey than with vinegar." Maybe she should try another tactic. Clearly Rosabeth wasn't going to budge. She could be as stubborn as the day was long.
Paisley moved forward and took Rosabeth's hands into hers. "Sweetie," she began. "You remember when we got together, right?"
"Yeah, of course," Rosabeth recalled that day when Paisley pulled her over for speeding just outside of Bridgeport. At the time Rosabeth had a large bin of linguini from a restaurant. They got to talking about Italian food, which led to their favorite watering holes, and so forth. They were amazed at the instant connection they had. When they discovered that they were on the same team that was the icing on the cake. Rosabeth was in love.
"Yeah," Rosabeth felt a little touched at the memory.
"And when we decided to have a life together?"
"Actually, our rent went up. . ."
"Not the issue here, babe." Paisley continued holding her hands. "We decided we loved each other enough to make a life together. To share our future, together."
She could feel Rosabeth weakening. "You're right. I do want to be with you."
"Same here. And what better way than to start out in this home?"

Once again Rosabeth looked at the small house. Paisley could see the apprehension returning in her face. "I don't know," she shook her head. "This place, it's not exactly what I had in mind."
"But think of the possibilities," Paisley reasoned. "It's a lot safer than the city. We won't be getting mugged every time we go to the mailbox. Look at all the cool places we've seen since we got here. The pool, the park. Wouldn't it be nice to take romantic walks around here without some perv following us asking if he can watch?"
Rosabeth couldn't argue with that. "True that."
Paisley continued to plead her case. "Think about how nice it would be to have pets in our own place, without a lot of stupid rules from the landlord? We can do our own thing in our own place. Plus after a few years we can always upgrade to a larger place with more rooms and bigger closets. This could be a starter house. Rome wasn't built in a day. We're taking baby steps now."
Rosabeth agreed.
Paisley decided to move in for the kill. She took one of Rosabeth's hands and traced the inside of her palm and wrist with a finger. That was one of Ro's most sensitive areas. "Think of all the good loving we can have," she said in what she hoped was a seductive tone. "We can have all the privacy we want. We can christen every room in the place. Day and night. We can get as noisy as we want, without anybody banging on the wall. Except maybe for us."
