//A werewolf runs better in it's wolf form. Faster and more steadily. That is why she's having so much trouble getting away.
I run down the halls, weird feelings running throughout my entire body and it's near impossible to ignore them. My body seems to want to shift into a different form but I'm to panicked to understand the recurring problem. The wolf behind me is fast, it's paws scratching against the hard wood floor. My speed picks up but I fail horribly as I trip over my own two feet.
Suddenly large paws leap over me and I'm facing the dark wolf, his eyes beaming down at me.
"A- are you a... a w-we- werewolf?" I ask, in fear of my life being cut short because of a supernatural creature that I don't even believe exists. The wolf only stares down at me, letting out a deadly growl.
Little do I know that werewolves are very, very real.
I stare at the creature above me, contemplating whether I should attempt to fight back, not like I can survive against a animal twice the size of me. Quietly, I let out a inhuman whimper sound and squint my eyes at the animals sharp teeth. Those canine fangs could rip me apart in seconds. Of course that would be my luck.
The wolf snarls, it's slobber falling on my face. "P- please! Let me go you stupid animal!" I shout at it, growing the only confidence I have in me. "Get off of me!"
Once again the meat eater growls but this time runs off, leaving me on the cold ground, confused and scared.
Not understanding what happened I lay there for a few minutes, trying to make since of my life and put the puzzle pieces together. Jinx, has the eyes of the wolf. His eyes are like mine, completely inhuman colors. The wolf understood what I was saying, signaling he sure in hell was no normal animal. Meaning only one possible thing. Werewolves were in fact, very much real.
Jinx was a creature that wasn't supposed to exist. Our eyes were alike. Did that make me a... a... wolf? Oh god, even the thought is ridiculous.
A horrible feeling rises in my stomach and I sit up instantly, puking up what seems to be all my stomach acid. I puke for what seems like eternity until I manage to calm my freaking body. My body shakes as I begin to slowly stand up and make my way towards my given room.
Werewolf.
All I can think about is an half human half wolf. Yes, that is what I consider a werewolf. An inhuman creature that can not, and will not be trusted. Anyways, I'm probably just seeing things.
Haha, yea that's definitely not the case.
My room provides me comfort as I step foot inside it. Considering the fact that non human creatures may exist, I have a reason to say that I may actually be crazy. I mean, nothing's more crazy then seeing a wolf stand over you and drool all over your face.
I may need some mental work done.
A low knocking at the door makes me turn around and widen my eyes.
"Who the hells there?" I snap at whoever is the person responsible for interrupting my only few minutes of terrorizing peace.
The voice that speaks is not what I expected to say the least. "Bella open the damn door!"
Jinx.
He sounds angry. Real angry. The thought of him decapitating my head comes to mind. If werewolves are real, it wouldn't be impossible for him to do so.
I shout back at him, making up a story to save myself. "Just wait a minute... I'm on the toilet."
A loud growl replies and instantly I know.
Werewolves are most definitely real.
Making my little plan up within those few seconds, I shuffle into my bathroom and look into the mirror. My contacts have fallen off but I don't exactly know when. My hair is a tangled blond mess, and my clothes are covered in dirt. Dried slobber remains on my face. If I were to soften how bad I looked, it still wouldn't change a thing. I looked like utter hell. This is what people put in graves look like.
My plan was simple. I'd escape out the window, run of into the woods and find shelter somewhere- hopefully.
I glance at the window and next thing I know I'm silently crawling out of it. My small feet hit the gravel with a thump and I sprint towards the trees. Shouts are heard from the mansion, and I can hear them even when I'm almost a mile and a half away from the place. Not something a normal person would be able to do.
The screams stop once I reach a small, dirty pond. I step into it slowly and crouch down to cup some water in my hands and drink it. It's distasteful but it's not like I got much of choice right now. My choice was when I leaped out that window, or when I refused to go home when Jinx told me to.
At all honesty my life wasn't filled with many choices right now, none that were very good at least.
My body feels regenerated pretty quickly and I keep at a slow pace throughout the dense forest. Little sounds from all different types of animals is heard from everywhere. It's so easy to hear them so clearly. I've never understood why my senses were always so strong but it was never a bad thing.
Once again I hear shouts and they are nearing, calling my name angrily. Like my life was on the line, which it probably was, I ran at my full speed. I hopped over fallen branches and dodged large trees. My body was on full alert of my surroundings and I could smel, see, and hear everything around me.
Even though I was as fast I could make my short legs go, the shouts got closer. I tried to push my body even further although I basically knew I couldn't go much longer without taking a break. Running was always my passion but not when it was to save my very own life.
Paws, fucking paws were heard now. They scratched against the forest floor, desperately trying to catch up to me. My breathing grew rapid as I struggled to keep on moving.
Giving up seemed to be my only option until I was face to face with a strong shot of adrenaline. My body kicked into full gears and I got faster then I ever imagined. My legs didn't hurt much now and I could sense how far the creature was behind me.
It knew he was close but I kept on going, enjoying the ounce of strength I was now given.
All of a sudden, a sharp pain consumed me and my bones felt like they were crushing each other. I wanted to fall to the ground and cry in agony but my legs refused to stop their speedy pace. The world before me seemed to change, colors were so vibrant and I could smell ever little animal and flower. The breeze didn't affect me like it had before, when it made me chill with goosebumps.
Now, I didn't feel like I was on two legs. More like four... four strong, muscular legs. I stopped in my tracks only to look down at myself. No longer was I wearing my clothing. Hair didn't run down my shoulders and past my breast. Now, I was a furry animal standing on all fours. I was a... a creature that I didn't believe in.
I was something not normal. Panic, so much panic took over and when I looked to my right a confused Jinx stood- in all his glory.
Saying I didn't enjoy it was a pure lie but right now I could care less about naked boys and the dirty things I could do to them.
Right now, I was trying to come up with an explanation as to why I'm a wolf.
A werewolf.
