I wake up curled into a small ball on Jinx's bed. In the middle of the night he got up to sleep on the floor so I could have the comfy bed to myself. To be honest Jinx was beginning to seem like an extremley nice person. All my old judgements on him were starting to fade away. Last night, I couldn't sleep too well and he literally sang me a lulaby until I was knocked out. How sweet is that?
My body feels a little rigid but I sit up to find Jinx gone from the floor and his blanket and pillow on the end of the bed by my feet.
Curiously I leave the room, not caring that I'm in one of Jinx's t-shirts and my panties only.
The mansion seems pretty empty as far as I can tell but I proceed to go downstairs and take a longer look around. There's no sound making it eerie and the paintings on the wall make the effect of an old horror movie.
How fun.
All of a sudden, making me jump in fright, Jinx pops up in front of me, smiling widely.
"You came looking for me?"
I nod slowly. "Yea I just, kinda got curious. Sorry.."
I apologise not wanting to sound too needy.
Jinx only smiles softly and lightly then turns to leave the room. He walks out, heading in a direction I have never been in before. Being the curious girl that I am I follow behind. My eyes widen when I see the massive buisness room. There's a huge black desk with one of those roly chairs behind it. I smile and look at Jinx who now sits on the chair, pulling out papers from within the desk.
Wanting to ask a question but trying not to be annoying I huff quite quietly and lean against the wall. His eyes trail up to me and he roles his eyes. "Yes?"
Of course the nice attitude wouldn't last too long.
Shaking my head I begin to walk out from the nice room. "Never mind then, Mr. Attitude."
I smirk at my own sass, proud of myself for being brave and not cowardly standing still and silent.
Jinx doesn't care to stop me so I leave the room. My mind traces back to my mother and father. What a shame they couldn't just leave it alone. The relationship. Before it may have been good but it obviously wasn't meant to be. Anyone could see that.
I make my way back up to the room and glance at the mirror. What I see is a confused girl being something she never thought could be real. Insane right? Before, I use to question wether I was living a real life or a dream. Now I do it more then ever. Sad to say, but my life was way less confusing before all this shit happened. All this- mythical shit.
After looking at myself for a bit I take a warm, much needed bath. The water almost overflows the tub but I stop it just in the nick of time.
Just after putting the pink, strawberry scented bubbles in I sink into the hot bath water. I let out a sigh of approval and close my eyes. The water soaks my entire body calming me down simply easy.
The sound of loud banging on the door door takes me out of my peaceful state and I open my eyes wide, looking through the crack between the door and the wall.
"Bella, where the fuck did you go?!" Jinx's voice is loud and clear making it all the more obvious he's extremely pissed at my behavior of annoyance.
Groaning, I step out of the tub and put on my clean clothing. I slowly open the door only to face an angry Jinx. "Is there any particular reason you decided to ruin my nice bath?" Squinting my eyes at Jinx and putting my hands on my hips I act all dramatic for the hell of it.
