Today was the day I wanted Jinx to teach me the ways. How to be a werewolf and live like one. Maybe it was a insane idea but I didn't have anything better. I mean come on, I have to face my biggest fear once in my life at least and why not that be right now, today.
Jinx clearly did not expect me to say that because his eyes were wide and his mouth was dropped widely. Wow. I didn't even expect myself to say something as crazy and foolish as that.
I shifted my eyes elsewhere so they weren't lingering on the surprised Jinx for too long. A cold breeze was now present and I longed to go home and drink some hot chocolate but no, I was going to learn.
"Please." I begged him. "Do this for me."
Jinx only nodded his head slowly in reply, meaning he agreed but I didn't think he felt too good about the whole situation. To be honest, neither did I.
"Alright, if you really wanna be taught quit standing there like a statue and give me five." Came Jinx's powerful and demanding voice.
"Five what?" I questioned him, confused and oddly worried I wouldn't like this very much.
"Push ups. Now"
Really? Oh come on, this is what I'm not happy about.
Groaning, I got down to the ground, placing my hands on the cold soil softly.
Up and down.
I began to push down on my weak arms and lift myself back up. It hurt, oh god damn did it hurt. I practically cried out weakly with every move I made. Jinx of course was chuckling beside me as I finished my last push up.
Angrily but softly, I punched him in his chest only making him laugh so much harder and louder. I scrunched my nose at him and walked away, making my hips sway in the process. It wasn't hard as I had a curvy body.
"Your not done. You got a long way to go sweetheart."
Of course I do. Can a girl never be understood like, ever!?
Sighing heavily I make my way back over to Jinx and wait for his next, pathetic direction.
"Show me how fast you can run. Race me."
I used to be one of the fastest in track so in my mind this wouldn't be much of a difficult task for me to complete.
Jinx and I start at the tree line and sprinted towards the beautifully built white mansion. My eyes widen when I see that Jinx is far ahead of me and not only that but he is now his wolf. Running fast and free, strong paws landing heavily on the ground within each second.
My attempt to catch up fails and when I get to the finish line I'm panting heavily and practically falling to the ground. Jinx is happily stands there, still as a wolf, not tired at all. I roll my eyes and start to walk into the mansion.
Footsteps follow behind me proving that Jinx is following like I had expected. I don't mind nearly as much as I would have because he didn't do anything wrong today. Only tried to help me, which I'm very thankful and happy for.
The house is cold so I go upstairs and change into something a bit more warmer. A black pullover hoodie and some white joggers does me good.
When I get back downstairs the human form of Jinx is sitting on a chair in the kitchen and he has a phone to his ear. He seems to be talking angrily into it and I decide it's not a good time to interrupt or make a big deal out of it. I turn around and head back up the stairs and into my room. Nothing is out of place meaning nothing to clean. My phone is no where to be seen so it's not like that's a option. It's just so boring with nothing to do. Maybe I could explore the house again but I'm sure I've almost seen pretty much everything there is.
