Aiko slept quietly, passed out on the hospital bed as Amaya, Hokuto, and Fumiko stood over her bed, quietly watching her sleep.Amaya's hands began to shake until she felt her mother hold her hand. Suddenly, they then heard some quiet groaning as Aiko's eyes slowly opened.
"Where . . .am I?" Aiko asked.
"You're in the hospital Ms. Fujimoto." Hokuto replied.
"How you feeling dear?" Fumiko asked.
"Tired." Aiko mumbled.
"Looks like the stuff is wearing off." Fumiko mumbled. "Don't worry though, you'll be a little more normal soon."
The room door then opened as a male doctor entered in, holding a clipboard in his hands.
"I see our patient is awake." said the doctor. "The stuff usually takes quite a while to ware off. How are you doing so far Aiko?"
"Tired . . ." Aiko mumbled.
"As I anticipated." the doctor added. He glanced up at Fumiko, still holding the clipboard in his hands. "I actually would like to speak to you privately about an offer that I have in mind. If you don't mind coming with me for a few."
Fumiko glanced at Amaya as she set her hand free with sadness. Fumiko petted Amaya's head before following the doctor outside the room. While Fumiko was outside the room, Aiko's room was filled with silence as Amaya stared at the ground while Hokuto watched over Aiko.
"I anticipate that you might have to stay here for just about one more night before being able to go home."
Without an answer, Aiko shrugged with a tired look upon her face.
A minute later, Fumiko and the male doctor returned as a saddened look laid on Fumiko's face.
"We have a plan for you Ms. Aiko." the doctor began. "I have spoken with your mother and we have decided that due to your suicidal thoughts, you will be staying in one of the hospitals in Shibuya for about 2 weeks."
Both Hokuto and Amaya immediately looked at the doctor in shock.
"I thought you were going to say a day." Hokuto muttered.
"Why two weeks?!" Amaya asked.
"If we put her in for one week, it will feel as if we didn't provide enough time to actually be able to treat her and also, there is a bunch of stuff we will be doing with Aiko, nothing bad, in order to make sure she stays out of the depression zone as far as you can get away from the suicide area." the doctor replied.
"How will I . . . get there?" Aiko asked with a yawn.
"You will be transported to the hospital by ambulance." the doctor replied. "I do promise you that there will be no sirens going off for you while you are in the back. Also, your mother, sister, and . . friend can follow us by their car if they wish to visit."
Aiko sat up slowly as she said, "Hold on, why is it that when I take sleeping pills by accident, I am at the hospital for a week? Meanwhile, when I try to kill myself with a knife, I'm in the hospital for two weeks?"
"That, I honestly don't know how to answer Ms. Fujimoto." the doctor replied. "I guess there couldn't be much done about the accidental pill issue as there could be with the suicidal issue."
Aiko sighed and she looked at Fumiko as tears began to fill her eyes. "I don't want to go."
Fumiko went to Aiko and grabbed her into a hug as Aiko began to cry.
