Aiko rested on the couch with a cold cloth rested on her forehead. Hokuto and Amaya stood beside her as her heavy breathing was slightly less heavier.
"Are you sure your mom's okay with her being here for the night?" Amaya asked.
"You should ask your mom that question." Hokuto replied.
Amaya sighed and looked at Aiko, who was still passed out with an anxious look upon her face as she breathed the heavy, tense air.
"I hope my sister isn't getting sick or anything." said a hopeful Amaya. "The show is soon and we got some serious butts to kick. Aiko is the star on our team as she's never sang in front of anyone before."
"That must be why she fainted." Hokuto added.
"What do you mean that's the reason?"
"Pressure can attack anyone just as bad as this Ms. Fuji. Aiko is being bullied by those girls and she's having to sing in front of a huge audience that includes Ms. Koizumi and her crew. That's a lot for a young lady like Ms. Fujimoto."
"Do you think she'll be at school tomorrow or even better by tomorrow?"
"I'm sure she will be. I shall make sure that she will be calm enough to have the ability to return to a public environment."
"Seriously though, is your mom okay with her staying?"
"Think about the Christmas party."
"I know the answer then."
With that in mind, Amaya grabbed her bag and Hokuto persuaded her to go back home as Aiko is in safe hands as she'll need all the rest she can get. When Amaya left, Hokuto looked at Aiko and held her pale, sweaty hand.
After many painful minutes, Aiko finally woke up, feeling Hokuto holding her hand.
"You awake Ms. Fujimoto." said Hokuto. "How're you feeling?"
"Tired but a bit better." Aiko replied. "Did I pass out?"
"You did but I was lucky enough to catch you before you hit the ground." Hokuto replied.
"Anyway, I have made you something special but it's cold since I want you to be freezing instead of sweating."
Hokuto went into the kitchen and brought out something that made Aiko smile as she sat up, positioning herself to face the table that rested close to the couch.
"This is my favorite combination!" Aiko exclaimed.
"I know you like shrimp with vegetable tempura and I was hoping you wouldn't mind it cold as you have a fever." said Hokuto.
Aiko smiled and began to eat the cold food. Without a care, she continued eating until her plate was empty.
"I would like to ask you something Ms. Fujimoto." Hokuto began. "Why do you like shrimp so much?"
"I guess, I guess at some points, it reminds me that I am alive to be able to taste something this good. Also shrimp and vegetable tempura together are extremely amazing. It gives you a special sensation that is hard to describe." Aiko replied.
Hokuto shrugged and sat next to Aiko, who was beginning to look a lot more better than she was before.
"The plan is that you shall be sleeping here for the night as me and Ms. Fuji don't want you ill like this again."
Aiko nodded once and began to smile. Aiko began to reach her hand over to Hokuto's greasy looking black hair. She ran her hands through it as it felt fluffy. "How is your hair this long?"
