A Secret Biological Part of Me

Chapter Ten

When the siblings arrived home with Hokuto, they noticed Fumiko setting up for dinner.

"Hey, what took you guys so long?" Fumiko asked.

"Long story." Amaya vaguely replied.

Aiko limped over to the living room.

"Aiko, why in the world are you limping?" Fumiko asks, emptying her hands. 

Amaya suddenly gulps and she then says to Aiko, "Sis, stay still."

Aiko does so in silence as her sister walks over and lifts up her skirt a bit, revealing the bandages.

"The hell happened to her?!" Fumiko yelled.

Fumiko stormed over and she then commanded Aiko to sit down. Once Aiko sat on the couch, Fumiko lifted her skirt slightly farther to see the bandages, only to see them extend up the near top of her legs. She then checks Aiko's arms, only to also see them on her arms. 

"What happened to her?!" Fumiko yelled.

"You see, she slipped on a banana peel that was somehow place in the line and then her lunch, which was ramen, spilt all over her body. We heard from the nurse, Ms. Chisaka, that it caused second degree burns but if it was any hotter or any worse, it would've caused third degree burns instead." Amaya informed. 

"How did a banana peel end up in the damn line?" Fumiko asked.

"Hokuto found out that it was placed there on purpose due to the position it was placed in. The problem is, trying to figure out who did it." Amaya stated. 

"Well, Aiko you're going to take a bath right now. I'll be meeting you in the bathroom." Fumiko directed. "Amaya, can you help your sister get upstairs?"

Aiko slowly got up and Amaya then asked as she held her sister's hand, "Are these burns really affecting you?" 

"I was burned all over my body and it seriously hurts to walk normally and I wish it didn't." Aiko mumbled.

"I'm sure mom will figure something out." Amaya replied. 

Hokuto also held Aiko's hand as they slowly took her upstairs.

Not long after they made it upstairs, Fumiko appeared with a towel, soap, a first aid kit, and a cloth. 

"I anticipate this will be both painful and difficult so I hope you came prepared with patience and tolerance to do this."

Aiko gulped as she became worried. 

Meanwhile, Amaya and Hokuto relaxed upon the floor and Amaya sighed.

"You better stay for dinner. After all, you did walk just about triple the time it takes us to get here." Amaya replied. 

"If you request me to stay for dinner Ms. Fuji I shall." Hokuto replied.

"I don't request for you to stay for dinner. I command you to stay for dinner." 

"If you insist Ms. Fuji."

"I said I command not insist damn it!" 

"If you say so Ms. Fuji."

"I hate you." 

Amaya sat up, only to hear Aiko groan in pain and Fumiko trying to relax her.

"I feel bad for Aiko." said Amaya. 

"I know you do Ms. Fuji. We all do and we all wish to help her." Hokuto replied.

"Then why don't you admit that Ayano and her gang did it."
