finally safe

Damon POV :

I got everything ready for our trip , I told Stefan that we will be gone for 3 days or so ,I packed our bags , prepared the car , the only thing left was to wake my princess .

I went to our room , there she was snoring softly , I didn't want to wake her but we should go .

''Rise and shine sleepy head '' I said kissing her cheek , ''Damon ?'' she said starting to wake up

'' what time is it ?'' she asked while sitting on the bed rubbing the sleep of her eyes

''Time for me and my beautiful girl to go for our trip '' I said , she simled and got out of bed .

''Hey , you're ok ?'' I asked just to make sure that she was totally fine ,'' well nothing hurts physically '' she answered with a sad smile .

''Soon enough you're going to be totally fine , i promise you'll get through this '' I said stroking her cheek with my thumb she smiled and told me that she's going to go get ready .

I went downstairs to wait for her ,where I found Stefan .

''Hey brother , look I compelled the owner of the place you asked for to wait for you to give you the keys , it's a quiet private place that you and Elena will surly like '' Stefan said

''Great brother , see you soon '' I said hugged Stefan , then Elena waled down , I just realized this is the first time she walked on her own since what happened .

I couldn't help but smile , that she is already getting better , ''Let's go '' I said offering her my hand to take .

she took my hand we got in the car , and i drove

Elena POV :

the drive was quiet , we barely talked , i couldn't get myself to say anything , and Damon didn't push me to talk .

A lot happened in this place that no one knows about , except Meredith but I made her promise to keep it a secret but I know sooner or later Damon will know , but I don't know how to tell him

''What are you thinking about beautiful ?'' Damon asked , ''hm ... nothing '' I said , ''Where are we going ?'' I aked to change the subject .

''I already told you it's a surprise '' He said , then we went back to being quiet again

1 Hour later :

'' we're here '' Damon said , he got out of the car within a second he was by my side to open the door for me .

''c'mon princess '' he said offering his hand for me to hold .

we walked a little bit in what seemed like a small garden or forest then we got there to a beautiful beach house , it was so simple and beautiful , i couldn't help but smile .

'' you like ?'' Damon asked with a smile , '' i love '' I said

while I was smiling at the perfect view , Damon sweep me off my feet and carried me bride's style to the house .

he kicked the door in then put me on the ground to go talk to some man , that i discovered later that he's the owner of this place .

''so wanna go for a swim Lena ?'' Damon asked , ''Actually yeah ''

Damon smiled at me we both went to put our swimming suits on .

then we got in the water , Damon challenged me to race him to the shore , while we were racing he pulled me in by my leg into the water and kissed me , only then I realized how much i missed him .

when i finished swimming i took a shower , Damon was still in the water , i put on a white dress , then went outside to find him standing looking at the sea his back to me.

I went and wrapped my arms around his back .

''I missed you so much baby '' I said , '' I missed you too '' he said then turned to face me .

'' You know when i was there , i used to dream about you everyday '' i said getting upset at the thought of this awful place .

'' Hey , it's over you're safe , i won't let anyone even think about hurting you ok '' Damon said while lifting my chin up so i was looking at him .

'' go inside watch some TV or something , until i prepare dinner '' Damon said , stroking my hair .

'' Let me help you preparing dinner '' I offered , ''No , we're here so you could relax so go '' He said , not wanting to hear anything so i just went inside .

I sat on the couch and watched TV , Until almost night , then Damon called for me , I grabbed a jacket cause it was getting cold out , then i got out .

to see the mot beautiful diner , Damon settled some candles around a blanket and pillows on the blanket he putted diner with to glasses of blood .

Once i saw this i ran to Damon's arms to hug him , then he left me off the ground and turned me in the air , then he putted me down on my feet .

I looked in his eyes , his blue ocean eyes , the eyes that whenever i look at i feel safe , happy ,the eyes of the love of my life , my soulmate , my true love .

the only thing i was thinking about was how much i wanted to kiss him , and before i knew he crushed his lips on mine , starting slowly and sweet , then he bite my bottom lip gently , and parted my lips with his tong , so he could enter his tong , the kiss was sweet and beautiful .

after what looked like years we parted Damon held my face with each hand on one side of my face , we leaned our forehead on each other .

''I love you Damon Salvatore '' i said almost a wisper , '' Oh Elena you've no idea how much i missed hearing you say that '' Damon said .

we sat for hours eating talking laughing , then i rested my head on Damon's chest while he was sitting facing the sea , and i fell asleep

Damon's POV :

After a while i realized that  Elena was asleep so i carried he inside , i put her on the bed , turn off the light , and went to sleep with my beautiful angel in my arms .
