Damon's POV :

I kept pacing the room , waiting for her to wake up , Meredith said that everything went well and that she'll be up in a few hours .

But I couldn't calm until I say her say that she's fine , I have called Stefan to tell him that we're spending the night in the hospital and I asked him to come and to not bring anyone with him.

cause I didn't know if Elena would want people here when she wakes or not but I needed my brother now , cause I was losing it It's been 2 hours and she didn't even move .

Stefan's voice calling me brought me back to realty .

" Why isn't she waking up Stefan , if something happens to her I...." I was holding her hand and I was about to break down .

" She will be fine I talked to Meredith before coming here , she told me that everything went as planned and that she is just resting , think of it as if Elena told you that she needed to rest for a while , don't worry brother she's just sleeping " Stefan said .

Then his phone rang , I assume it's Caroline cause he went out to answer his phone .

"Elena baby ....come on wake up .....just tell me you're your fine and then  you can go back to sleeping ... please baby I losing it " I said crying while holding her hand .

And then I felt a squeeze in my hand " hey , baby ... hey ..how are you feeling " I asked checking her .

" I'm fine .. b..but my stomach hurts " she said barley opening her eyes .

"yeah Meredith said that this is normal you'll be fine , we will both be fine "

3 months later :

Elena's POV:

Dear diary :

It's been 3 months since the abortion or as I like to call it my last sad day , me and Damon are now in the same beach house we've been in before .

he's sleeping next to me right now and I just woke up , finally everything is fine , I'e completely recovered I sometimes have some nightmares but they're not so bad , and Damon helps with those so much.

I love him so much , he's the reason I've survived all of this ,without him I would be lost , I would be dead for god's sake ,he's the only one who can melt me with one look, he's my soulmate ,my man , my everything , maybe I don't say this to him a lot but I'm planning on telling him everyday how much I love him .

I kissed Damon's cheek and went out , I stood in front of the sea , and breathed in the fresh air , and finally I smiled from the very bottom of my heart .

And as closed my eyes to enjoy the smell of the sea , I felt strong arms wrap around my waist .

" Morning beautiful" He said kissing my neck 

"morning , handsome " I said back as I rested my head on his shoulder .

"I could get use to those kind of mornings with you " I said 

" yeah , me too " Damon said , then I turned to face him ,

"thank you for everything you've done , really I couldn't have survived without you , you've got no idea how much I love you " I said .

" Baby , this is my work as your man , you shouldn't thank me for doing my work , I will always be here for you no matter what , I love you " he said .

and he came closer so our noses were touching and then he kissed me and I kissed back , It was  the most passionate kiss ever , it's like our lips had melted together , and I lost contact with the world the only thing that I felt was his lips .

After our lips parted he whispered in my ears "you'll forever be mine sunshine"
