Elena's POV

 I got out of bed , took a shower , then I saw that Damon was still asleep so I called Meredith to set an appointment for my abortion , this is going to be a long day  .

Meredith told me that she can get it over with this afternoon , but I asked her to give me an hour to confirm , because I haven't decided yet if I want to tell Damon or not .

Part of me wanted to tell him , cause I know I will need him there with me to comfort me and help me get through it.

But the other part wants to go and get it over with and forget about it forever , but I'm afraid that if I go without telling him that he'll never forgive me .

I was sitting on the couch downstairs moving my phone from hand to hand as the minutes pased by .

And when I finally got the courage to dial Meredith's number and right before I hit the call button , I heard Damon's voice calling for me .

" Yes " I said clearing my throat , "Is everything okay baby ?" Damon asked sitting on the couch with his hand rubbing my back .

I looked in his eyes and saw how much he was worried about me , he smiled at me as I looked at him , but eventually his eyes went to my phone and to Meredith's name on my screen.

" W...Why are you calling Meredith ? ..... wait better question why are you calling her without telling me ?" Damon asked but before I got the chance to answer  , my phone rang and it was her .

Damon swiped  the phone from my hand , and answered from the look on hi face i got that she told him about my appointment .

" yeah ... this afternoon is fine , we will be there in 2 hours "  then he hung up and gave me the phone and got up to walk away 

" So that's it ? you're walking away ?.... Damon I didn't mean to upset you " I said standing up , I was facing his back.

" You didn't mean to upset me ? really Elena ?" he said turning around .

"what part of we're in this together you didn't understand ?" I had nothing to say except one word .

" sorry"  I said looking to the ground .

Damon's POV

Of course I was upset she wanted to go alone for gods's sake , but mostly I was just worried about her .

I couldn't handle seeing her sad , so I walked to her and lifted her chin up so I could look in her eye .

" Look , I love you...... I love you so freaking much that every time I feel like you might be in danger I feel like someone is killing me ..... so let's make a deal .... you'll tell me everything from now on , no more hiding things from each other ok ?"  I said as I looked deep in her beautiful eyes .

" okay , but what will I get in return ?" she said smiling .

" Well , what do you want in return ?" I said smirking at her .

" I want you to promise to never leave me " she said with a scared look.

" Ohhh ... honey I'll never ever leave ... you're stuck with me forever " I said , and then I placed a gentle kiss on her forehead .
