tyler was the type of person who everyone would expect to run away from his problems.

so, that's exactly what he did. when he couldn't face his problems anymore, he ran.

he ran and ran and ran, until he couldn't feel his pain anymore. this upset, sad feeling in his stomach was instead replaced by freedom. and he felt it. he was happy.

he ran until he couldn't run anymore, and he found myself in a forest. it was vaguely familiar to him, so he wasn't lost. he was just free.

he found himself coming back to that trees everyday, escaping the world and his problems, and completely forgetting them. until the time when he had to go back home, and remember that he has problems, or that everything couldn't just be peaceful all the time. the time when freedom was gone, and fear and worry took its place once again.

but he mostly just tried to focus on the trees,  on the peace, rather than his problems. there was always a comforting feeling in the forest. it was silent, but the comforting kind. the kind that was just peacefulness. no overthinking, no anxiety, just simple peacefulness. and there was no one there except him. it all seemed like his. it was his own place, where he could escape the world, for just a little while. but you can't have everything for yourself. and tyler had come to realize this.
