Amy was discharged from the hospital the next day. Wednesday. Making her way back to the hotel, she was happy just to get out of there. "I'm not the biggest fan of hospitals", she spoke, climbing out of the taxi and walking into the hotel, found herself being hugged by the three amigos.
"Where's Arianwen?", Amy asked Urs, looking around them for any sight of her.
"She had to go back very early this morning but she sends her love and says that she will try to catch up with us all soon".
"Well, you'd better tell her to book some time off in about three weeks because she'll have to make her way to Paris for a very important occasion".
Urs look puzzled as did David and Carlos. "What's the big occasion?", David enquired, breaking the tension.
"Oh nothing much", Amy laughed. "Seb and I discussed a lot of things whilst I was in the hospital and one of them was having the wedding whilst everyone is in France. We agreed and I'm going to plan everything from my enforced bed rest".
"So, your getting married in three weeks", Carlos gasped, obviously surprised by this news. "That's very quick".
"That's right", Seb spoke, smiling like a Cheshire cat "We decided not to wait any longer and I want you three to be my best men. I couldn't think of asking one of you over the others, so I hope you won't mind sharing the job".
"David, do you think you could ask Sarah to fly over?. I would really like to ask her to be one of my bridesmaids and Urs, the same goes to Arianwen. Carlos, I'd like Jeanette to be my third bridesmaid as well. Get the gang all together for a wonderful event. I'm not going to tell you all the details so you'll have some surprises. But then again, I haven't worked out all the details yet, so there will be lots of surprises".
"So, who's going to arrange your bachelor party then?", David laughed. "Personally, I would like to volunteer for that job". The other two nodded. "We can hold it a couple of nights before the wedding, when I know the date".
"Sounds good", Seb replied. "But, please, no strippers and I can't get too drunk. I want to have a clear head when I get married".
"Right, on that note, I'm going to go up to the room and head to my bed", Amy laughed. "My pyjamas are calling me and then I'm going to get to planning a wedding. The Wi-Fi is going to get a beating from me. Seb, will you call Simon and give him the invite and I'll get onto my uncle and do the same".
"Yes boss", Seb laughed in response as he pretended to stand to attention and salute. "Or should I say, soon to be Mrs Izambard?".
"I'm really liking the sound of that now", Sophia chuckled. "See you later guys. Please feel free to come and rid me of my boredom. Don't think that you can have too much fun without me. I'll be group messaging you regularly to find out what your all up to. I need to keep you all in check".
The four guys looked at each other before all standing to attention, saluting and shouting "yes boss" as Amy started to make her way towards the elevator, turning to shout, "you got that right" as she went.
By Wednesday afternoon, Amy was already thoroughly bored. She had procured herself a notebook and pen and had been very busy trying to begin sorting out the arrangements for the wedding. Seb had given her carte Blanche over the arrangements. She resorted to getting out her phone and started a group chat.
"Earth to Il Divo", she typed and waited patiently for a response from one of them. They had spent the afternoon on some male bonding time as Seb called it, which turned out to be time in the hotel bar after they had done an early sound check "Come in Il Divo. Is there anyone out there?".
