It was a moonlit night,
I had you lying by my side.
As the moon shone its silvery bliss on your skin,
I saw you take in the light of this constant companion,
that testified our love each night.
But little did you know that the moon
had sent a piece of itself from those skies,
It was no other but you,
lying by my side.
