I thought I could stay far
apart from you,
When times made it harder to
hold on,
I thought about letting go of you.
But what is it that brings me back to you?
I find myself thinking this when I want to be away from you.
What is it that stops me?
That twinkle in your eyes, when you see me?
Maybe.
That captivating curve of your mouth everytime your eyes spot me?
Maybe.
But today,
I realized that its the distance that doesn't let me be far away from you!
The distance,
not of the souls but the bodies,
not of the heart but the minds,
not of the separation but the love.
Its what makes us better and stronger.
And once again,
gives me the courage to
fall back in your arms and
hear you whisper those
three words to me all over again.
