I wanted someone who'd wipe my tears
before they fall,
who'd catch me before the great fall.
I thought I'd found 'the one',
it was beautiful; a blessing in disguise and
a feeling that made my hopes rise.
But now I know,
even the roses have thorns,
and even the dusk overshadows the dawn.
I thought you were the moon to my galaxy,
but little did I know that I'd soon resort to
Apathy.
For, even the moon has its scars
and its just a bliss from afar.
Your love,
had me feeling that it wouldn't break my heart,
but now it has me praying so that I don't fall apart.
