James left at half past eleven, claiming that he didn't want to leave his wife Donna too long alone with their twins because the little peanuts had their cranky phase right now and woke up every other hour, screaming their lungs out for reasons unknown to the parents.

Gabriel wished him luck and James accepted it with a defeated smile before he left after a quick nod.

"I'll never have kids," Avery claimed and downed his drink.

"That's because no woman would want to press a replica of you out of her vagina," Marcus deadpanned and Jasper giggled, sticking his tongue out at Avery.

"No, I won't have kids because they're a pain in the ass," he disagreed with a huff.

"I thought you don't take it up the ass?" Sage inquired casually and Avery looked ready to lunge across the table to strangle him.

"I don't."

"Don't judge if you haven't tried it." Gabriel winked at Avery who crossed his arms in front of his chest and pouted like a toddler, making Jasper coo about his cuteness.

"What about you? Did you think about kids yet, perhaps adoption?" Sage wanted to know curiously and Marcus and Jasper looked at each other with an unsure expression. A silent conversation seemed to take place between them before Marcus answered. "We talked about it but" He shrugged and placed a kiss on Jasper's temple. "we think we'll wait until our lives are more steady. We don't want to drag children from one place to another because of our jobs or some other issue."

"Kids need a stable environment, a home," David agreed and - as stupid as it may sound - became even more attractive in Gabriel's eyes. He himself hadn't had a perfect childhood and had been mainly raised by nannies and the staff that took care of his parents' house. His father had been home only in the evening and after dinner he had usually disappeared in his home office, his mother too busy to look pretty and socialize with other wives throughout the day to waste a thought on her son. It still made him wonder why they suddenly thought that they had any say about how he had to live when they hadn't given a flying fuck about him during his childhood.

"You'll be great parents; Jasper all momma bear and Marcus the protective dad who forbids them to go out until they're thirty," Avery said and got similar glares from both men in reply. He raised his hands in mock surrender. "Just saying."

"You won't be a godfather," Jasper decided and Avery gasped.

"What? Why? I'm going to be the best godfather ever, your kids would miss out on a lot of things!"

"For example?"

Avery bit his lip and squirmed under Marcus' unforgiving stare. "Ice-cream?"

Jasper snorted and cuddled up to his boyfriend, yawning into his shoulder. Marcus lowered his head to quietly whisper into Jasper's ear whereupon he received a nod and an affectionate smile in response.

"We're going to go home now, Jasper's tired," Marcus announced and pulled Jasper flush to his side. Sage scooted out of the booth so they could stand up. Marcus helped Jasper put on his jacket and wrapped his arm around his waist in a clear show of possessiveness.

"Bye." Jasper waved and quickly bent down to kiss Gabriel on the cheek, grimacing at the feel of stubble on his lips. "Shave."

"I bet Marcus has to shave down there too when he wants you to suck him off," Avery commented with a smirk and wiggled his eyebrows. Marcus simply ignored him and tugged Jasper to the exit.

Gabriel choked on his breath as David unceremoniously massaged his cock through his pants. "I wonder if you are shaved here."

"Only one way to find out," Gabriel managed to reply though his voice still sounded breathless and he had a hard time suppressing the needy moan which threatened to bubble up his throat.
