Kirstin stood outside of Avi's window one night as she few small pebbles at his window.

As she threw one she saw a light turn on and a shirtless Avi at his window, he opened the window before harshly whispering "what are you doing its 2am"

"Im bored" She whispered back,

"Are you crazy?"

"Just a little" she laughed.

Avi stood there debating if he should take a walk on the wild side, but Kevin's voice ran through his head 'she's bad for you' shaking that from his head he looked back at Kirstin.

"I will be down just wait there and don't make any noise!"

Kirstin held a thumbs up at him as Avi shut the window and turning off the light. With a few minutes Avi came out of the back door.

"Hey there Juliet finally came down from your tower" Kirstin joked

"I think that's rapunzel"

"Erm...no I like Juliet better for you"

"It's the beard that gives me this womanly charm" Avi said dramatically as Kirstin giggled.

And Avi loved that giggle.

The way her eyes creased up and her smile bright, she really was the light in Avi's dull life but what he didn't know was that he was the light in Kirstin's life.

They sat on a rock that overlooked the city, watching the lights that twinkled in the darkness of light.

"This is so pretty" Kirstin mumbled.

"Yea" Avi breathed as they looked over the city.

No words needed to be said as they enjoyed each other's company.

"I had fun tonight" Kirstin said as he looked down at her shoes then back at Avi,

"Yea, me too" Avi replied as he turned towards his back door waving Kirstin goodbye.

He was walking in through the kitchen when the light got switched on, Avi froze to reveal his mother who had an annoyed look on her face.

"Avirel do you know what the time is?" she asked

"Erm..good morning?" he said with a small smile

"NO! What- what were you doing? WHY are you out at this time you have school- I bet it's that Maldonado girl" she said

"Mum no she means no harm-"

"Its two am! Get to bed we will talk more in the morning" his mum said as she shooed him up the stairs.

In the morning Avi rushed out the door so he wouldn't be hassled by his parents, when he got to school he went up to Kirstin lightly pushing her shoulder as he moved her away from Mitch and Scott.

"Hey?" Kirstin said

"Don't hey me I am in so much trouble with my parents"

"Why because their good baby boy snuck out and wants to live his life for once?"

"That's not funny, I'm being serious they really do care about me, I - I should've gone with you last night." Avi paused "see ya around Kirst."

As he walked away leaving Kirstin watching the back of his head getting washed away in the crowds of people.

"He left me.." she said.

"Babe he will be back just let him calm down, ok?" Mitch said as Kirstin didn't take her eyes off of the hallway where she last saw him.

'Will he come back? Or will he leave like the rest of them?' she thought as she walked past Scott and Mitch walking to her secret spot as tears started to form in her eyes.

She let out a silent cry as he world became dark and all she wanted was her sunshine back again.
