Chapter 1 Rewrite

"Hmm. For the second half I think you should do a triple axel and maybe..... Uh, Yuri?" He waved his hand across my face.

"Huh? Oh. Sorry, I was just... Zoning out..." I turned pink. Yeah, zoning out, more like staring at him.
Viktor coughed, "So the triple axel?"
"Oh, yeah.... Good, I should do that, mhm..." I answered.

Silence, all silence after that besides Viktor's pen gliding across the paper.

"I'm sorry that I was staring again..." I broke the ice, not literally though. "I just can't stop thinking about the kiss.."
"Hm? Oh. You shouldn't worry, it's just a kiss." He smiled.
"Aha yeah, but why?"
"Why what?"
"Why did you kiss me?" 
"Because I love you."
"Oh. " I blushed even harder. I wasn't expecting him to be so forward.
"Yes, now let's continue." He wrote on the page some more.
"But why me?" I broke the new silence that formed.
Viktor sighed, "Yuri, do you know how beautiful and precious you are? We've been over this. I love you for you. Stop asking why."
"But I'm not those things!" I protested.
Viktor flinched at my sudden anger and accidently dropped his pen.
"I.. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to get frustrated." I apologized.
"It's.." Viktor picked his pen up, "It's okay."
"I'm just confused. How much do you love me?"
"It's difficult to put it into words. It's a lot."
"More than skating?"
He paused, I thought I went overboard. I mean, skating was Viktor's entire life. I couldn't ask that of him.
I was about to apologize for my incompetence when he smiled at me and said, "Yes, I suppose you could say that."

A\N: (Most of you got pissy when I said that Viktor was bi instead of gay so I just rewrote it with him being gay. xD)
