Chapter 10

- Hailey

" come Hailey come. " those words were repeatedly whispers from afar.

"Who are you?" Finding those creepy whispers. I manage to walk towards the sound. The more steps I take the louder the sound. I'm near them, I know.

"Come Hailey come" why they want me to come?

"Who are you" I asked again

I came to a stopped when the whispers gone.
I looked around me. I don't know this place. Where am I?
I realised I was in the forest. Why the heck I get here?

The silence of the place gives chills in my nerves. The only thing I can hear is my beating heart and the crunches of the leaves under me. So I hug myself

No voices.
No whispers.
I'm totally alone now.
I take another step forward,when something at my right move. I scrambled on my feet. Closing my eyes so tight,preparing for some psychotic attack . But I felt nothing. Hear no movements.

Slowly opening my eyes, I was taken aback make me jumped out and fall from my feet again.

There it was.
A man that I couldn't recognise who was standing tall in front of me. A smirk flustered on his face making me swallowed in fear. He is sick. His hair is messy that never had any bath for a decade. He smells so awful. He kneeled and touches my chin making sure I am facing him straight. He doesn't say any words. His fingers came down my neck, bending it. I closed my eyes. This is the end of my life. I'm going to die. Wherever you are mom, please come and take me with you. I'm ready.

I slightly open my eyes but closed it right away as the man in front of me has no face.

I can feel his warm breath, he is closer.
And I felt him kissing my neck.

I felt a sharp thing sunk in my skin. And it was so painful.

'Nooooooooo!!!! '

"Hailey! Hailey! Wake up darling!"

"Grandma?! " the only word came out of my mouth.

It was only a dream. But it felt so real. The pain!
I feel my throat dried and I'm gasping air.

"Oh! Hailey! You are going to kill me"

"I've been waking you up for nearly an hour now but you wouldn't wake up. You're groaning , talking, shouting from your sleep"

My grandma is crying. She is hugging me so tight making me breathe hard.

"You- a re - sup-poca-ting meee grandma"

" sorry! I don't want to lose you too. "

"Sshhhhhhh. I'm here, alive. Thank you. I love you gran"

"Hailey!!!!"

"Hi Katie"

"Sup babe? How's your day"

"Thankfully breathing"

"I have some important errands to run so I won't be around. It's a pack thing" her explanation

"Pack? What do you mean?

"Oh, it's a school program you know. Stop asking, I gotta go now. See yah!"

I take a deep breathe. This place is nice but weird even the people who live in here.

I have to do something productive today, but doesn't mean I will attend class. I'll skip today. Promise it won't happen again. I just need sometime to figure out everything, life, my dreams.
