We Stand

Finally Back

Genevieve's pov

I woke up next to Barry, my head resting against his chest. Last night he told me that Caitlin didn't want me to leave the bed and that he would stay with me so he jumped up in my bed next to me and we fell asleep next to each other.

I smiled at him and just looked at him for a moment. I had missed him so much - his smile, his eyes, everything about him. When I was captured by Zoom - I never thought that I would see him again.

I smiled at him and leaned against his chest again, his arm wrapped protectively around me. I still looked the same as I did before I had my memories back. My hair was still white, my eyes were paler, I was still extremely underweight, pale and bruised. I felt like a skeleton. I had always had a problem with my weight because of my eating disorder so I did not feel as underweight as the numbers told me that I was. Though I did feel weak and fragile - that is what made me feel like a skeleton.

I just rested my head against his chest and listened to his heart beating, his soft breathing could calm me down in any situation. I looked at the door and just smiled as I listened to his soft breathing. We where finally together - it felt like nothing could tear us apart.

Then suddenley Wells number two walked through the door. I looked at him with fear at first - he looked exactly like him. He looked at me and stopped to look at me for a second. He sighed and crossed his arms over his chest.

"Who was I to you? I mean - on this earth", I looked at him with disgust. "It dosn't matter now, you're not him so it's nothing of importance", he sighed and let his hands fall down. He looked down for a second and then looked up at me. "What is you name? I mean - your full name. Because apparentley you remember now", I looked at him in anger. "My name is Genevieve - and that's all you need to know", he held up his hands in surrender and sat down on a chair in front of the computers. I heard a groan next to me and saw that Barry was waking up.

"Morning sleepy head", I said with a hint of playfullness in my voice as he stretched out his arms and smiled at me. "Morning beautiful", I giggled and bit my lip before he tightened his grip around me and gave me a peck on the lips.

"Oh you two, just stop it!", I looked over at Wells and saw him looking at the computer with a annoyed expression on his face. Once again - Barry groaned. "When did he come in here?", "About five minutes ago". He sighed and threw his legs over the bed before jumping off it.

Then Cisco and Caitlin walked in - Caitlin was carrying a handbag and a cup of coffe while Cisco carried a soda from 'Big Belly Burger'.

"Morning peeps", said Cisco as he sat down in his chair next to Harry. "Cisco, I thought we came up to that 'peeps' was only to be used by people over 35 that tried to be cool", he turned around and looked at me as I smiled at him. His expression was priceless. He let out a reliefed breath as he looked at me before running up to me and hugging me tighter than ever before.

"Oh my gosh - I thought that I would never see you again!", I giggled. "Well, I'm not that easy to get rid off am I?", he still squeezed me tight. "Cisco, breathing is a necessary thing you know", he let go of me and looked at me appologetically. "Sorry!", he walked over to the computer and started typing.

"There is so much that you have missed G! One, they released the Superman vs Batman movie - and two, Big Belly Burger released a secret menue!", I laughed at his silliness.

I looked to my right and saw Caitlin walking up to me, I smiled her as she approached me with a smile planted on her face. Her red lips curled in to a bright smile. She bent over and hugged me gently. "I am so glad that your okay Gen", I smiled as we hugged. "Me too, though I think that I have you to thank for a lot off it", she released me and smiled at me. "No worries, I just helped a friend out", I smiled thankfully at her.

"I will have to take some tests to see how you're feeling, is that okay?", I nodded at her as she took out different medical tests. Most of them where for the blood. She took some samples and walked in to her lab to look at them.

"Sooo - what have I missed? Other than the Superman vs Batman movie release", I heard how Barry chuckled. "Well, we went to Zooms earth and saved Jessie",said Barry - I smiled at him. "That's good news, I don't know who she is but - is she okay?", he smiled at me. "Yeah, she is", I smiled at him as I rested my head against the pillows. "Good, good", I smiled at them until the embarrasing moment of my stomach rumbelling intrupted. I heard almost everyone start to giggle. "Sorry!", Cisco came up to me and gave me a bag of BBB. "Cisco you're a lifesaver!", he chuckled as he handed over the bag.

I was finally back.
