Barrys pov

I stood and watched Genevieve's casket - it was already at the bottom of the hole. It was a sunny day - and everyone was there. Me, the team, Iris, Joe, Wally, Harry, Jesse... even Ray was there.

I held the light pink rose in my hand - it was her favorite flower. It was just days ago that my dad died - and she wasn't here with me to handle the sorrow.

"Mr.Allen - I believe that you had something to say?", I snapped out of my trance as the priest began talking. "Yeah...", said I as I brushed away the tears.

"Genevieve was... the loveliest person that I ever met", I took a pause - trying not to cry. "I have and will always love her with all my heart", I just couldn't take it anymore - and I think that Joe noticed.

"She was like an extra child or sister to almost all of us - and if she wasn't that, she was a fiancée. We will always remember her as the bubbly, kind girl that she was. She was truly one of a kind. She made everyone love her at the moment they saw her - because of her compassion and her personality, but I know that she didn't love anyone more than she ever loved Barry - and he loved her like no other", he looked at me as he spoke the last words. He looked so sad - Genevieve was after all very close to the West family as well. I smiled thankfully and sadly at him - a smile wich he returned.

I bent down and stood on one knee on the ground. I looked down and closed my eyes before opening them and looking at the casket. "I will always love you Genevieve - he is gone now, the man that did this to you - but I will get you back. I will get dad back as well. I will get the both of you back - I promise". I kissed the rose and dropped it over the casket. I watched as it landed at the middle of the light brown casket. I took one last look at the grave before I stood up and walked away with tears in my eyes.

As I walked out I saw Ray lean against my car - he was wearing a black suit and a dark bow-tie. He stood with his arms crossed over his chest and his legs crossed together. He looked up at me through his floppy, brown hair before standing up straight and looking at me.

"So you are the man the that she left me for? You're not even a man!", I had tears on my cheeks and my eyes were puffy. I looked at him and shook my head. "I really don't wanna do this right now Ray", he scoffed.

"She should have chosen me, but then you got me into jail!", it was obvious that he had been drinking. He stood right in front of me now - his face was only inches away from mine. He pushed me back - making me stumble.

I walked up to him with rage in my eyes and pushed him back. "She left you because you abused her! You mistreated her and almost got her killed! Look at us now - she is dead! If you ever really loved Genevieve you would have known that this isn't what she would want!", he looked at me with rage in his eyes as he bit his lips and backed away. He turned his back and walked off towards a black BMW.

I jumped into my SUV and just sat there for a moment - she was dead. I slammed my hand against the staring wheel - hitting it with full force as the tears came gushing down. Then I couldn't take it anymore - I ran and ran, I just couldn't believe that she was gone. The only woman that I REALLY loved was gone.

After I had been running for hours I ran home to Joe's house. I couldn't sleep in our apartment after tonight. When I came into the house the entire team was there - everyone was still wearing black. Each and every one of them was holding glasses containing alcohol, I looked over at Iris and Joe. "I need some air", said I before walking out to the porch. I sat down and looked out towards the sky. Was she there? Was she in the stars like she said she would be?

I heard footsteps approaching from behind me and Iris sat down next to me. I looked at her - my eyes were red and puffy. We sat there in silence for a while. I looked out at the stars and smiled sadly at them.

"She told me that she would be in the stars - but even though it makes it more special to look at them it doesn't replace her. I really loved her, Iris", I felt as she wrapped an arm around my shoulders. "It's alright - she loved you too", I had heard that countless of times this day and even though I knew that it was true - it didn't even feel close to when I heard her tell me that she loved me. I looked into Iris's eyes before I spoke again ."There is something that I've got to do", she smiled at me and nodded. "You do what you've got to do", I smiled sadly at her before I was off again. I ran and ran - faster than I had ever done before.

I was going to save my mom, my dad would never go to jail and Zoom would never come to earth one - she would be alive. I knew this for sure - I was going to save them.
