As we walk out my house we really didn't say a word until half way to where Jack was taking me.

"Lily?" He asked shyly.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"Can I hold your hand like we used to do when we were little?"

"Yeah?"

We entwined our hands together. It felt really weird.

"You see! You are still my bestfriend." He said.

"Where exactly are you taking me?" I ask confused.

"Ice-cream shop."

"Really!"

"Yeah. From there to the field we used to cross then the arcade."

"Jack! You are amazing!"

"You are still my bestfriend."

"Don't you think people will think we are going out?"

"And what's the big deal with that? You are my bestfriend."

I saw the girl that I really hate come out the Ice-cream shop.

"Oh look Loser Lily has a boyfriend!" Cory sneered to her group.

"He isn't my boyfriend." I said annoyed.

"Oh really? 'Cause it looks like you are holding hands."

I let go of his hand.

"Cory this is my bestfriend Jack. We have been bestfriends since we were little."

"Nice to meet you...Cory." Jack went to shake her hand."

Cory looked at him like so weirdly like if she liked him. In her world time was going slow. God I hated her big green eyes that wore eyeliner and mascara, her pretty blond hair, her ideal nose, her perfect skinny-body.

"Well no wonder why he isn't your boyfriend. He is way to hot for you." She laughed at me.

"And do you think that you will get a guy with that personality? They like you because of your body and how you show it; You Whore!!" Jack got insulted. "Now I have to take my bestfriend to celebrate her birthday."

It sure did looked like she got insulted. Jack saw that I was crying when we entered the Ice-cream shop.

"Oh no-no-no! Shh! Don't cry." He hugged me and took me to a booth. "Don't listen to her. She is just a stupid girl." He just hugged me until I stopped crying.

"Smile! Smile! You know you want to smile." Jack tried to make me happy. He was tickling me. I started to laugh.

"There you go!" He said very happy.

The waitress came to our booth. Her hair was wavy-blond, brown eyes, thin nose, small lips, straight-yellow smile, and clear face. She was short and really skinny.

"May I take your order?" She asked nicely.

"Yeah can I have the banana split with extra fudge." Jack said politely. "And can she have the happy vanilla order." Jack ordered for me.

"Drinks?" She asked.

"No, its okay."

"Alright, I'll have that out for you."

"Thank you... Kat." He read her name tag.

"So will you tell me what happen?" Jack asked.

"You see how she insulted me?" I said angrily.

"She's a bitch. She has no life."

"We were best friends."

"You and her? What happen?"

"Well she was new in 2 grade and she had no friends so then I became her friend."

"Then?"

"She started hanging out with her group she hangs out now; Jary, Mary, Katy, Dawn, and Agnes."

"I call them the 666's."

"Why?"

"There is 6 of them and they are evil."

"Here you go." Our ice cream came.

"Thank you very much." Jack and I said at the same time.

We started eating our ice cream.

"Here lets change." Jack said with his mouth full of ice cream.

"Why?" I asked confused.

"Remember when we were little and we used to switch out food?"

"Yeah?"

"Well lets do it!"

We switched and wow his banana split was very good. We finished our Ice-cream.

"Kat can we have our check?" Jack asked.

"Yeah! Here you go youngsters!" She handed us the check with a warm smile.

"How much is it?" I took a look.

"Hey! You can't look." He took it away from my sight.

"How much should we tip her?"

"I'm going to give her 20 dollars."

"Isn't too much?"

"She was nice."

"Yea that's true."

"Well lets go to the field."

We left the Ice-cream shop to the field.
