Thoughts:
Good writing, great plot! Medium length chapters, which is fine considering that there are 51 chapters.
The plot of the story is the best part out of everything. It's original, which coming from someone who also loves to write stories, is something I can really appreciate. As many of you know, it's not easy to create something new and also be able to build on it.
This story is quite a good one but, there are reasons as to why I gave it an 82.
The main reason being the villains. They were unnecessary and a distraction throughout the story. They were quite boring too. Whenever I read a part that had the "villains" I couldn't help but be bored out of my mind. Yes, not all parts with them were terrible but the majority of them were, for the lack of a better word, bleh. I would've much preferred if the author had done something more with them in the story, something other than bullying Cas every now and then. I believe that the author does have the ability to do more to add more excitement to the plot with a villain.
I did really like the whole idea of the story. My favorite part was actually when Cas' dad was okay with his sexuality but not his mom. It really breaks the "dad is an ass, mom is a blessing" stereotype that happens in many fan-fictions, including some that aren't from this fandom/ship.
18 Dates is a great story, I truly recommend for you to read it. Who knows, it may even be your 100.
