It was my first day of school. I was excited but nervous as well. How will i be able to make friends? What will they do if they find out im homeless? Will they make fun of me? I had a frown on my face and i was looking down for the whole time i was walking to homeroom.
Then i felt i bumped into someone.
"Im sorry..." i said politely.
"Keep your chin up. And smile." He said while lifting up my chin.
"Ill try... heh.." then he walked off.
I got a little lost but i managed to find my way through. I finally got to my homeroom. I peeked through the window. Holy shit, there were a lot of students. I knocked on the door then i grabbed the door handle and opened the door. I was kind of shaking. It was the middle of the school year so there was only like one or two seats open.
"Hello Ms. L/N" Everybody started to whisper.
"Hi..."
"You are our new transfer student, am i right?"
"Yes sir.."
"Alright, you may take a seat next to Ein on the far right side of the classroom. Ein raise your hand." Ein raised his hand.
"Thank you sir." I sat down next to Ein.
"Do you want to do your introduction now?"
"Sure.. okay, so.. my name is y/n. I uh, recently moved here from c/n and i look forward to what is in store for my future. Thank you." Everyone clapped.
"Heyy... psst..." a guy said beside me. It was Ein.
"Uhh.. hi?"
"Remember me? From the hallway? We bumped into eachother?"
"Yeah..."
"I see you are smiling more? Is that because of me?"
"Probably. Hehe."
"You wanna be buddies?" He asked. Buddies? Am i finally going to have a friend?!
"Yes. Of course i want to be buddies."
"Great! Im loving you already!"
"Uh.."
"As a friend i mean."
"Ein. Stop flirting with the new student." The teacher said. Everybody laughed.
"Sorry, sir."
"Wanna meet by the front of the school?" Ein whispered to me when the teacher turned aroumd to write on the board.
"Sure."
"Great. Lets meet after school then. Deal?"
"Deal."
