General POV

Star's face went pale as soon as she saw her attack backfire and headed straight towards Marco. "No!" She screeched, pulling Marco out of the way with a rainbow ribbon. Marco landed in front on her, his face kissing the dirt beneath him. Star turned her gaze back to Toffee, anger written all over her expression. "What? Did the princess almost kill her boyfriend?" He cooed, trying his hardest to maintain a straight face.

"DIAMOND DAGGER STORM!"

In seconds, shiny yet sharp daggers appeared from her hand, and all aimed at Toffee. "You may be my uncle, but that doesn't mean you are my family." He chuckled, mimicking Star's spell. Both gave each other death stares before launching their attacks at each other. Each dagger countered the other, each poofing into a puff of smoke. As if on que, the stampede came along, knocking Toffee off his feet. Star smiled as she helped Marco to his feet. "Thanks," was all he could muster after everything that's been going on.

Using the distraction to his advantage, he shot Star with his dark magic, sending Star tumbling down in pain. "Gah!" Toffee snapped his fingers, a portal appearing behind him. From the portal, monsters came pouring out. "Bring them out," he ordered. One of the monsters nodded, pulling a cage from the portal. In that cage, was Moon, River, and Ponyhead. "Mom! Dad! Ponyhead!" Star cried, seeing her friend and family members sitting in the cage. "Lets be smart, Princess. Give me my finger, and you get your family and horse friend here."

"Don't do it Star!" Ponyhead yelled.
Star gulped, her legs shaking while she gripped onto her side, which was bleeding from the impact. She looked at Toffee, gritting her teeth. She snapped her fingers, and her guards ran up from behind her. She then jumped into the air.

Marco watched as Star's wings expanded to look like huge butterfly wings. Her skin changed color, from a soft peach to a bright pink. Her hair had little antennas sticking out, and had 4 more arms. She looked like her form, just pink and without the eye hearts. She grinned at him, speaking in a dark and low tone. "Wanna play dirty? Let's play."
