Star's POV

I charged at that disgusting lizard, my guards following me. Still as I try to act threatening, Toffee still upholds a grin. It was truly revolting. Raising my hand in the air, I released a bolt of energy which turned into a bright blue sword. "Interesting," said Toffee, as he swerves away from my attack. Before I could swing around to chop his head off, he grabbed my arm and pulled me close. He whispered something in my ear which made me want to end him that moment.

"Not bad for the Queen of Darkness."

I snarled as I jerked away from him. "Don't deny it Miss Butterfly! We both know what your destiny is. You can't avoid it for long. Even your parents know that," he said aloud. I swing at him again, knocking him off his feet. "Shut it!" I hissed, shooting more magic spells at him. I would have assumed he was surprised because of his reaction. His eyes were wide as he rolled to the sides, dodging my attacks. He kicked me in the gut, sending me flying into a tree. At that moment, I looked around.

My men and Toffee's army were going at each other. The clashing noises of swords, and the blood-curdling screams filled the air. The people around us, assuming it was all of Echo Creek, cowered as we fought. I saw Jackie holding Marco back, who was screaming my name. I knew he wanted to help, but this wasn't a game anymore. He could die. And it would be my dumb fault. Janna was holding Marco back as well.

I felt a rush of pain in my side, and I flew through the tough bark of the tree and into a neighbor's house. Toffee. That little cheater... I pick myself up, angrier then ever. "Bumble Bee Syrup Tsunami!" I shout. The dang monster gave me another grin. Why won't he stop grinning? Is his mouth stuck like that? He shot green magic at the ground beneath him, sending him flying, and again, dodging my attacks. "Fiddlesticks..."
I flew upwards, dancing around his attacks. Getting close, a raised a hammer of dark magic down upon his sick head. He flew down really fast. Heck, gotta go fast?

He hit the floor with a loud thud. It caused an explosion of dust and rocks to fly up. A large gaping hole stood there, a monster on his knees. "Not bad. Dark ? Perhaps we do have another Ecl-" I cut him off. "No! Don't you dare say it!" I screech, swooping down at him. "Eclipsa," he says. He was really pushing my buttons now. I yell again in frustration, trying to ignore his words. We both fought again, melee combat. Using a dark flaming mace and shield, I was able to knock him down again. Unfortunately for me, he grabbed me by my hair and threw me into another house. "Again?" I groan as I slowly get back up. Next thing I know, I hear Marco yelling. "Hyah!" My face went pale as soon as I saw what he was doing.

Marco's POV

As soon as I saw Star fly into another house, I snapped. I repulsively charge at Toffee and kick him in his back. "Hyah!" I watched in horror as he gets up, giving me an evil glare. "Ah. Marco Diaz? It has been a while. You surely would pay for that," he spoke calmly as he turned to me. I gulped as I got into my fighting stance. He looked at me plainly, raising his arm. Oh no.

I yelp as I jump around and duck under his attacks. Running close to him, I kicked him square in his face. I am sooo dead. He got up chuckling, sending me back with force. I scream in agonising pain when my back his a metal fence. "Marco!" I hear Star scream. I look at her, tears in her eyes. I lay there, wincing in pain. Fiddlesticks........
