I decided to head to my room. Tip toeing once again, I made it to my room. I slept soundly. I didn’t care about the crashing rains and booming lightning.
The next day, when I woke up, I found up something unusual in my shelf. A horse. Not exactly an horse- a mare (baby horse). It was brown in color, had two gleaming black eyes which stared right through me and a smile with all of it’s teeth on display. It had it’s left leg raised with an horseshoe bearing the dollar sign. The right leg was a lowered down bearing a beveled letter ‘P’. It was in a sitting position on it’s hind legs. I gazed around my room to see who placed the mare in my shelf. I heard a giggle. Another giggle. I knew who it was- Philip. He was standing near the door, waiting for me to wake up.
“I’m sorry for breaking your piggy. I replaced it with my own pocket money.” he started. I was at a loss of words. “Do you like it?” he continued. Like it? I loved it. Especially as it was a present from Philip.
