Philip handed me a coin. “Slid it in.” he commanded. I did. I expected to hear an “Oink.” But I heard something different. Way too different- A horse’s neigh. Something flashed on it’s stomach. It was a digital screen. I was blown away with Philip’s creativity. Oh, as Philip was multi-talented, he was also an inventor.

“Balance: 1 buck.

Expenditure: None.

Saving: None.”

The screen glowed green showing the info.  “That’s cool, Philip!” I exclaimed, patting  his back. “There’s loads of such fantasies yet to come.” he replied grimly. Little I knew what he meant.

I was so glad that Philip gifted me a new ‘mare’ bank with gizmos. I placed it in my shelf carefully. It fitted perfectly in the shelves.

“Elsa, dinner’s ready!” mom shouted from the dining room.

“ I’m coming.” I yelled back.

I hurried downstairs. The stairways groaned as usual when I stepped on them.
