Chapter Eighteen I can't believe the drama that I'm in

Loretta's POV

"Of course! Yes!" I tell him

He smiles and gets up off his knee. He picks me up and spins me around. "I love you." He tells me as he puts me down on my feet

Danny's POV

~The next Day~

I'm at the doctor with Alexz. I have to get the hearing in my right ear checked out. I left before Criss woke up since I didn't want him knowing that I was here. He always freaks out. We get into the doctors office and I sign all the forms while Alexz sits down, texting his girlfriend. A doctor walks in signing 'Daniel Gonzalez?'

I nudge Alexz on the arm and he looks up. 'You staying here?' I ask him

He nods his head. I get up and walk with the doctor and he leads me down the hall into the sterilized office. He has me sit down next to him. 'Hello, Danny. What's changed since we saw eachother last?' My doctor, Dr. Williams asks me

'Well I moved out finally.' I sign

'That's great! Congrats!'

'I also moved in with my boyfriend.'

'Wonderful. So how has the hearing been in your right ear?'

'I don't know Doc. Honestly? It's been bugging me a bit.'

'Well let's have a look.'

I nod my head and he looks at my ear with that thing and sighs. 'It's not good is it?' I ask him

He smiles. 'You're okay Danny.' He promises me

I sigh with relief. 'Really? Thank god.'

He nods his head. "Just becareful." He tells me

I nod my head. I get up and leave the room. I walk out to the waiting room to see Alexz talking to my mom and dad. "Oh, shit." I sigh

I'm about to turn around when my dad says "Danny, please!"

He sounds so hurt. I would love to just run out of the room. Never look back. But I mean...he's my dad...and she's my mom...whether I like it or not. 'We should talk.' My dad signs

'But not here.' My mom signs

Twenty minutes later and Alexz is pulling into a small diner where my dad suggested. Alexz turns the car off and we get out. I stop at the door. Alexz turns to look at me. 'What is it? What's wrong?' He asks me

'I can't do this. I thought I could...but I can't. I was wrong. We should leave.'

'We can't hide from her forever.'

'Can we atleast try?'

He rolls his eyes and says "No." then drags me inside

We see my mom and dad at a booth with red leather seats. My mom sipping on her coffee and my dad drinking his tea. I see my mom take my dad's hand once she sees us. Before today I haven't seen her since I moved out. It's odd. We walk over to them and sit down. 'Hi.' I sign to them

'How have you been?' My mom asks me

'Pretty good.' I sign

'What have you been up to?'

'Just working, hanging out, that sorta stuff.'

'Where do you work now?'
