Chapter 19

"Alysia?" I ask as a girl with long, wavy blonde hair answers the door and smiles at me.

She is a little bit taller than me, thin and very beautiful.

She has lovely golden skin whereas mine is just... white. She's everything compared to me. I can see why Nathan went with her last.

"Hi, you must be Scarlet. I've heard so much about you." She says as I look at her confused, "Nathan and I are still in contact. I see he fucked you. He's right in there. He said you need to talk so please take a seat and I'll bring in some drinks." She says as I nod and slowly walk into the room to see Nathan sat there, looking perfect like always.

My breath catches as he looks up and into my eyes and I look straight back into his.

"Scarlet..." He starts, but I put my hand up.

"Nathan, you hurt me. I love you were the three words that could keep me going for a week. Even if you whispered them to me once." I say as he looks at the ground, "I knew you didn't mean them Nathan." I add on as he sighs.

"Scarlet, I told myself everyday that I didn't mean them and that I just wanted to fuck you and leave, but I always came straight back to you becasue I couldn't leave you. Something was always pulling me back and that was the fact that I do Scarlet, I do love you. Scar, I miss you and I mean it this time. I miss you and Scarlet, I love you. Please you have to believe me." I go to answer but Alysia walks in with drinks and food.

"Thanks love." Nathan says as she smiles at him and turns to me before grinning.

"So how far along are you and do you know the gender?"

"5 months and yes I know the gender. It's a girl." Just then we hear Nathan spit out his drink.

"A girl?" He questions as I nod.

"What's her name?" Alysia asks now ignoring Nathan's presence.

"Sophie-Lea Drew." I say as Nathan now chokes on his drink after spitting it out once again.

"Nathan, you're cleaning that up." Alysia says leaving the room.

"Drew?" He asks as I nod, "But that is my baby." He says as I nod.

"You're not gonna be there for her." I say now rubbing my hand over the small bump and smiling a little as I feel Nathan's hands on my waist.

"But I wanna be there for her." He says as I push him away.

"How do I know you're not gonna hurt me again Nathan? Or even worse, hurt her?" I ask as He pulls me close to him by my waist and puts his forehead with mine making me look into his beautiful gre-

Shut up!

"I promise you. I won't hurt you again. Ever." He says as I sigh.

"I don't know, Nathan." I say after pushing him away before Alysia walks back in and gives him a cloth to clean up his mess.

"I really don't know." I say as he sighs.
