Liar, Liar

Getting to know Scorpius this whole day was amazing. As was the red velvet. I didn't actually meet Teddy and Wendy with Jenna until we had to leave. Scorpius and I got to the courtyard before we split up and found our respective houses.

"Ryder." Wendy growled.

"Wendy..." I said putting my hands behind me.

"Where were you? You said you were going to come" Teddy snapped at me.

"I told you I had errands to run. I apologize." I said.

"You're lying. Ryder tell us what you were doing." Teddy scoffed.

"You ditched us for what!" Wendy said.

"You'll get mad." I said biting my lip.

"We're already mad." Teddy scoffed.

"I went on a date." I replied to them finally "Now we have to go, so." I shrugged before speeding off.

"A date." Wendy exclaimed. "WITH WHO. RYDER." I went ahead to the front of the group where Sam was with Wes and Daniel.

"Where have you been?" Daniel asked me.

"Out and about." I replied.

"Wendy was going to kill you." Sam said "Like really going to hurt ya."

"Oh I know." I scoffed. "Teddy was too."

"You all seem like siblings." Wes laughed.

"Oh we are. But Teddy and Wendy are the overbearing 'cool' mums who want to know everything and when they don't they go mad." Daniel scoffed.

"Screw mad. They go bloody berzerk. They feel entitled to all the information they can get." Sam added. "But seriously Ryder, what were you doing."

I sighed and went to open my mouth to say something.

"We won't tell em." Daniel said.

"I went out on a date." I sighed.

"With who." Daniel scoffed.

"You people date here." Wes scoffed.

"Oh yeah. That's why the three broomsticks was so packed. 5th years like to get around." Sam laughed.

"Do you not date?" I asked Wes.

"We're not particularly allowed to make a lot of friends outside of our houses which makes it hard." Wes shrugged. "Girls in Thunderbird are stuck up."
"Jenna doesn't seem stuck up. Are you both in the same house?" I asked.

"Oh no. Jenna is in Pukwudgie. They are very different from the girls in Thunderbird. Pukwudgie has more heart. Thunderbird women are much more focused and stubborn headed than anyone you'll ever meet." He replied.

"Oh, so Ryder?" Daniel said. I swiftly hit him with my hand in his chest.

"Shut up." I scoffed.

"You can't deny at all that you are a stubborn headed woman." Sam scoffed.

"No more than you are." I retaliated.

"I'm not a woman." Sam scoffed.

"Debatable." I scoffed.

Daniel and Wes laughed while Sam glared at me. Only to be met with my big grin.

------SCORPIUS POV---------------

"How'd it go." Albus grinned, nudging me.

"Amazing. She's great. But I think my father will kill me. She's not pureblood." Scorpius said.

"Who cares." Albus scoffed.

"He does." I said, raising my eyebrows. "I gotta find some sort of witch heritage to make her pureblood before I introduce her to my father. I can not be the first Malfoy who doesn't marry pure."

"Don't let your fear of your father stop this." Albus told me.

"I won't. I truly like her. I don't want it to. But Albus, he's still my father. If he doesn't approve..." I trailed off.

"You'll still date her. Because your father doesn't dictate your life." He finished for me.

"But he so does Albus. He so does. Our line must be pure." I sighed.

"I think he'll be so impressed with Ryder he won't care." Albus said. I sighed.

"Yeah..." I shrugged. "We'll see."
