Hogwarts & Ilvermorny

I woke with a start quickly putting on my robe and making sure I had my head girl pin on. I snuck out of the dorms without even Godrick noticing. He was fast asleep. He didn't usually wake up until breakfast time anyway. I checked the clock which read 6:45 so I ran down to the train station. I almost slammed into Charlotte as I ran.

"Oh god sorry." I exclaimed.

"Ryder what the hell are you running for!" She exclaimed back.

"Its 6:50. We have to be there at 7." I replied.
"Ryder the station is barely a 5 minute walk." She said squinting.

"Punctuation is key." I scoffed back speeding off to the docks.

"You're insane!" She yelled back. Followed by a chorus of shushes from the paintings. I made it to the docks in 2 minutes. Professor McGonagall was already there.

"Good Morning Headmistress." I said.

"Morning Ryder." She smiled. "Early I see." She grinned. I nodded.

"Of course Ma'am." I replied.

"Good." She smiled at me.

"Good Morning Headmistress." 2 voices said in sinc. I turned to see Scorpius and Charlotte. He winked at me, making my face turn red.

"Good morning Charlotte, Scorpius. Have you seen Hannah?" She asked them.

"She was just behind us." Scorpius said.

"HERE HERE HERE!" Hannah exclaimed. "I'm precisely on time." She gasped holding her sides. "Oh. Oh, that was a lot of running." I gave a giggle.

"Scorpius I didn't know that you were a head boy. I thought that Vincenzo was doing it." I said raising an eyebrow.

"Mr. Maklari's parents transferred him to Durmstrang so Mr. Malfoy graciously accepted the position." Professor McGonagall said. I nodded.

"Oh." I said.

"Now the Americans will be here any minute now. They have each been sorted based on their traits. There are 8 of them, 2 per house. The 4 of you will be showing them around representing our school. Ryder will be leading the way. Be proud, be tall and kind." She said. We all nodded. The trains lights were fast approaching us. The train came to a slow stop and the doors opened with teens in cranberry robes stepping out. They were all last years. "You must be the ilvermorny students!" Professor McGonagall smiled. A tall man with a well groomed beard and hazel eyes stepped out behind them. "You are Professor Jaune Wilkes aren't you." She said, extending a hand.

"Yes Ma'am. It's nice to meet you." He grinned. He had a thick southern accent. One you'd see in a hannah montana movie.

"And you. Welcome to Hogwarts." SHe smiled.

"This place is huge." One of the students said eyes wide.

"Hogwarts was built 990 A.D with the magic of our 4 founders; they were a little pretentious and lavish." Charlotte said.

"OH MY GOD I LOVE YOUR ACCENT!" One of the other girls smiled.

"Thank you. I like yours as well." Charlotte said scrunching up her nose.

"I'm Ryder." I said to them, extending a hand to all of them.

"Nice to meet you." One of the boys said there were 4 boys and 4 girls. An even amount of people probably sorted that way as well.

"Ryder why don't you take the students inside and show them around before breakfast." Professor McGonagall said handing me a clipboard.

"Yes ma'am." I nodded "Follow me." I said. "I'm Ryder Cambridge if you've forgotten. I'm head girl of gryffindor house which is basically a team captain. There's 4 houses at hogwarts."
