Chapter 5: The text

I couldn't stop thinking about Cameron the whole entire way home. He remembered me. He called me beautiful and asked for my number.

Oh my goodness, what if he likes me, what if he...well why would he like me. He meets hundreds of girls all the time. I know there are girls prettier than me. Why would he choose me.

As I was sitting on my couch eating popcorn and watching my favorite movie of all time, "Endless Love" I got a text message. I picked up my phone hoping it was a text from Cameron but it wasn't it was from Kassidy.

"Oh my gosh Lex, you and Cam totally hit it off. Its obvious he likes you!"

"I doubt it. But what about you and Hayes. You two are love birds! I seen it coming ever since he caught you in his arms when you tripped over my arm at the restaurant! I responded

"Oh I know! Hayes is so cute! he texted me wanting to know if you and Cam want to hang out tomorrow?"

"Can hasn't texted me yet, if he does then yes we should all hang out! (:"

"Okay if he texts you, text me! lol(:"

I sat there waiting for his text then all of a sudden my phone buzzed. I hesitated for a minute then looked at it. It was from Cameron.

"Hey beautiful, I know it's kind of soon but do you wanna hang out tomorrow? (: "

It took a minute to realize it was actually him but I texted him back...

"Yes! I would love too! (:"

I sent the message and he responded...

"Want to go to the aquarium? (:"

"Yes! Sounds fun! What time? (:"

"How about 12:00?"

"Sounds good. See you tomorrow at 12:00!(:"

I texted Kassidy immediately after.

"Omg! he texted me. Were going to the aquarium at 12:00!"

"Omg! You two are perfect, lol and alright me and Hayes will meet you two there tomorrow! Night night!"

I texted her back "Night" then plugged my phone in the charger and went to lay down in my bed. So many thoughts were going through my head. I couldn't believe I was going to be hanging out with him tomorrow.
