Chapter 4: The Big Day

As I counted down the days until Magcon my heart started racing. I was just so nervous to meet Cam again and I'm sure Kassidy was nervous as well, considering her dream guy was the one and only Hayes Grier.

Beep. Beep. Beep.

Ugh. I'm not ready to get up. It's too early.

As I struggled to wake myself up completely, I grabbed my phone and began to turn off my alarm. My eyes opened wide when I seen that it said...

"YOU HAVE'T TO GET UP! MAGCON IS TODAY!"

I jumped out of my bed and ran to my closet.

"Hm, what to wear? Ooh, these are cute. I picked out some jean shorts and a light purple shirt that said "Free Hugs." I quickly put on my shorts and shirt and went to the bathroom.

"Oh my, I said looking at myself in the mirror."

I grabbed my make up bag and applied some liquid eyeliner. After that I curled my eyelashes and put mascara on them. I then added some light purple eyeshadow to my eyelid and put on some light pink blush.

After I put on my makeup I brushed my teeth and put on some lip gloss.

"Now, what to do with my hair?"

I decided to French braid it. That way it's not in my face.

I then ran downstairs and slipped on my white sandals and as I was heading out the door I screamed, "Bye mom! Love you! See you in a bit!"

I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and called Kassidy. After an endless number of rings she finally answered.

"Hey, are you ready?"

"Yes I'm walking to your house right now."

"Alright see you in a minute!"

I put my phone in my purse and then seen Kassidy.

She looked so gorgeous! Her hair was up in a pony tail and she was wearing a pretty blue tank top with blue sandals!

"Hey! You look good today, who you trying to impress?" I said laughing

"Hayes, of course!"

"I should've known that!"

We hopped in my car and headed to Magcon. My heart started pumping now. I was so nervous!

"Were next!" said Kassidy

"I know, Cameron is standing right there. Right in front of my eyes."

We took a few more steps and then Cameron said...

"Hey, I remember you. We met at that restaurant."

Did he just say he remembers me? Oh my goodness. I could hardly breathe.

"Are you okay?" he said smiling

"Yeah, I'm fine." I said laughing a little

"I never got to ask you this at the restaurant but what's your name beautiful?"

I smiled and said "Alexis"

"What a beautiful name for a beautiful girl. You know I would like to get to know you better maybe we can meet up and hang out sometime?"

"Yeah I'd love too!" My heart was racing, and my palms were sweaty.

"What's your number?" he said with a huge smile on his face.

He handed me a piece of paper and a pen and I wrote my number down. I handed him the paper and he said...

"I'll text you later. Okay."

I looked at him and smiled.

"Okay! I'll be waiting."
