Chapter 13: Uncovering the truth

"Hey Lexi. Why are you up so early?" My mom asked me as I was walking out the door

"Just thought I would take a morning walk."

"Oh okay, well be safe and have fun!"

I chuckled and said

"Don't worry mom, I'll be fine."

I headed out the door and began to walk down the road.

I got a text from Micah that said,

"Hey! Meet me at the park! As soon as possible!

I replied with a,

"K. See you in a few."

I walked slowly to the park wondering why she wanted to meet me.

I arrived at the park and seen Micah sitting on a park bench with Kylie. I walked over to them.

"Hey!"

"Hey. So what do you want to tell me?"

I said while sitting down next to them

"Well you know how that girl showed you that picture-

I cut her off before she could finish.

"Stop. I don't wanna talk about it." I began to get up

"No, Lexi. Wait. I think you'd like to see this." She said grabbing my arm and pulling me back

She pulled out her phone and showed me the picture.

"Look."

"Look at what? Its the same picture. Nothing has changed." I said in an angry voice

"No. It's not actually. This was at Magcon when Cam kissed you. She took a picture of you two kissing and photoshopped herself in it to make it seem like Cam and her were kissing."

I stood there in shock.

"Wait...so I blamed Cam for nothing?"

"It wasn't his fault. He never kissed that girl." Micah said looking at me

"Take me to his house!" I screamed

We ran to her car and jumped in.

We drove to his house and Micah pulled in the driveway.

I walked up to the door and knocked.

"Hi Alexis. Are you here to see Cam?" his mom said looking at me

"Yes!"

"He's in his room." she said smiling

"Thank you." I said smiling back

I walked up to his room and knocked on his bedroom door.

"Cam! Open the door"

I heard footsteps and then the door unlocked.

"Alexis, what are you doing here?"

"Cam I know you didn't kiss her. micah explained everything to me. I miss you, I need you, I love you. Your my everything Cam."

He stood there...

"Say something"

He cupped his hands around my face and pulled me close then kissed me. It was a passionate kiss.

"I've missed you so much." He said whispering in my ear

"I've missed you too."
