Desire to Feel

Such simple words leave your lips,
So much meaning,
Such a strong desire to kiss.
Pull me close,
Feel the tension between,
Feel that which can't be seen.
Look into my eyes,
And make that remark,
The one that'll only spark
The flames within my soul.
We're so close,
Feel the pull;
These simple words
Have not left my mind,
The only thing left behind,
Is the thought of you.
It's that smile,
That makes me come alive;
It's that smile,
That drives me crazy.
I can't think,
I have to hold on,
Because in a blink,
The space between us
Will be gone.
Your lips have never touched mine,
But it's crazy what I'd give to feel
Your hands run down my spine.
The two of us entwined,
It feels like I'm drunk,
And you're my wine.
Trying to hold on,
There's space between us,
No matter how much I'm drawn
To you, I'll leave it be.
Just let yourself be free.
