I wanted to kiss you in the worst way.
Your hand guiding my head,
Speaking all of the words,
That were never said.
Only inches apart,
I could hear my heart,
Waiting for that which went untold,
Trying to keep every breath controlled.
The tension between us begins to mount,
Two pair of eyes,
Trying to never forget every account.
Your hand begins to pull,
Caressing my neck so gentle,
There is no way that,
This missing space is coincidental.
Closer and closer,
We seem to get,
Neither one breaks a sweat.
How near can we draw?
Never finding out is our only flaw.
