Being Archanophobic

"Felicia get down here at once" yelled my mom, oh god what have I done now, maybe I didn't wash the plates no scratch that I might have forgot to call mom after coming from party.

Mom is a doctor of one of the most reputed hospitals in the city and so she is very busy and have multiple shifts so you wont expect her to be at home most of the time, so we get hold of each other through texts and calls but yesterday I was so much tired that I didn't even bothered to call her.

so I ran downstairs and saw that mom was dressed in casuals and that kept me wondering that didn't she had work today.

"yes mom" I said to her and she looked at me disapprovingly

" why didn't you call me yesterday" she questioned me and raised her eyebrows

"I was tired mom and I fell asleep the moment I reached my room , I'm sorry mom , I promise you I wont repeat this again" I said to her with my puppy eyes.

"Oh drop the act Liya, you know how much I have been worried about you and make sure you call me next time or you are grounded from parties for a month and no WIFI too for one month" she said keeping her face straight which also meant she wasn't kidding. I mean does she legally have the right to cut my WIFI, you know what I don't care.

" yes mom I will sure do" I said and smiled at her

"Liya I wont be home for a week maybe a two, I have to go to Princetown for an important work" she said

"Princetown , isn't that where dad's old mansion is " I asked her curiously

she flinched for a second but asked it and kept her face straight" yeah the police said there is some things to be sorted out on his accident" she said and hurt was flashing all over her eyes

It has been two years since dad died, before dad died we used to live in Princetown and we all were a very happy family and even though living in Princetown scared the hell out of me becuase the whole area was surrounded by forest which aslo meant more spiders but I loved being there around mom and dad and also around Aspen.

Aspen was my best friend back there in Princetown but the day after my fathers death she went missing. My dad's death is still a mystery nobody knows how he died, mom wanted to buy some groceries and so she forced dad to go and buy them and then after that he never came. Later we came to know that he was found dead near the forest area of Princetown.

Later we left the town and moved in Queens to start a new life and both me and mom vowed to ourselves to not talk about dad again but today I don't know what happened, a lot of times the police had called us for different things but she refused to go to Princetown but today all of a sudden she is going. I cant guess why.

"but then why do you have to go to Princetown" I asked her

" I don't know Liya just don't ask anymore questions and also get ready you have to go buy some groceries.

I groaned and walked over and got dressed myself into a black denim shorts and white crop top and pulled my hair into a pony tail. I didn't bother wearing make up as I wasnt a fan of it.

"The list is on the table Liya" my mom yelled from the kitchen and I walked over and took the list, oh god its very huge and I took out the credit card and left.

I pulled into the driveway when I got a call, it was Jaison

" hey" I spoke into the phone

" Morning Felicia" he chirped and his voice sent shivers down my body and then I remembered about yesterday's events

" Yeah what's up" I asked him

" I just called to make sure whether you were okay or not" he said and I smiled for the fact that he called to check upon me

" Yeah Jace am all good" I said to him

" What are you doing now'' he asked

" I was going to the groceries, the Wall mart" I said

" The one near my home. I will be there when you come" he said

" yeah would love to see you jace" I said to him

" bye" he said and I put my phone down and started to drive the car

within 20 minutes I reached the mart and parked my car and to my surprise Jaison walked in and stepped into my car and gosh he smelled really good, he chuckled when he saw that I was sniffing, I looked down in embarrassment. My cheeks were probably the colour of tomato

" hey" he said and I went closer to him and kissed on his cheeks and to my surprise he shivered at my touch and I said " Thank you for everything, you know yesterday" I said to him

" yeah isn't that the kind of my thing to do" he asked me

" what kind of thing" I asked him confusion

" you know the date kind of thing" he said

" all though it didn't turn out to be a good date" I said to which he smiled sadly

"I can take you out somewhere later as a date" he said and smiled at me

" yeah I would like that" I said to him

" cool" he said and I walked out of the car with him following me and I walked into the mart and Jasion took a basket and took my list and started to search for the stuff I looked at him and laughed and followed behind him.

I went to the chocolate section and looked over the chocolates and picked up my favourite 'The Quality Streets' and turned over only to hit someone's chest.

I looked up and I was frozen by his eyes, they were the most beautiful pair of stormy grey eyes I have ever seen in my life and they seemed to stare at me with an emotion I cant explain.

The guy was wearing a hood over his head but when he hit me it fell down to show his eyes and his silky smooth hair which I wanted to run my hands over and over again. He was well built and was very tall and he had the most smoothest of skin which I wanted to feel.

Oh my god what is wrong with me, why am I having these kinds of thoughts, I just met this guy no more like hit this guy and I don't even know his name

" I am sorry" I mumbled and my voice barely came as a whisper as I was trapped by his beautiful gaze

He just nodded at me and turned his head and went away in the other direction. I stood there staring at him and that was when I noticed a spider curled up around my jeans and let out a scream

Jaison came running around with something in his hand and he dropped t when he saw me scream.

" Jace there is a spider, take it off me" I said to him and he came running and I could feel the spider coming up my legs and panic started to set in and my body was sweating the whole time and I didn't feel like standing I wanted to collapse to the ground. Okay you may find this a little over dramatic but trust me you don't know what it feels like to be Archeaphobic.

Jaison came and took the spider and threw it away and that was when I finally let out my breath.

I hugged Jaison when he stood up and he hugged me back and smoothed my hair and I wiped my tears off.

" you are Archanophobic" he asked me

" yeah " I said

" but that's okay don't fear when your Jace is here" he said and together we walked off and brought the groceries.
