One Last Time

Felicia POV

"You, how could you do this to me, to Alec, he.... he sees you as his father" I shouted at Volsivik

"But he ain't my son, little bitch" He spoke again, with a certain calmness in his voice, he motioned Aspen to move around and get hold of a small vase.

I couldn't move around but i saw that it was a small vase filled with a red liquid. 

What kind of freaky spider shit will it be, I thought to myself. I knew there was no escape from this, I wanted to see Alec before all of this. I wish I could.

"Can I please see Alec for one last time. I asked Aspen as she came near me with the little vase"

She smiled at me, not the kind of one which you will you fall in love, but the one which will make you run the other way around. 

She forced open my mouth and run the liquid down my mouth. I could feel it sprinkle around my mouth and throat. Surprisingly it was tasteless. 

"No" She whispered on my ear.

And she unwrapped the ropes around and i could feel myself getting more drowsy. I cannot see anything, it was a blur and all i could feel was the fine lines of wrinkles on Volsiviks head, like he was thinking. Thinking deeply of painful ways of killing me

Alex POV

I drank the liquid and suddenly my vision blurred and all i could feel was the pain running down my veins, i could feel the portion taking its effect. I stood up with all my might and slowly went down to my room.

Everything was set down for the ritual. There was only one day to save Mia, and I will save her at any cost. I'm not going to let Volsivik win. 

I looked at myself in the mirror and saw that I had turned invisible. I walked out of the room slowly and saw Adam hiding behind a large wooden block. Suddenly the lights went out and  I could hear a scream across the hallway. 

"Mia" I heard a whisper. I could feel my heart beating  faster at the thought of her getting hurt. I needed to get out and I used my senses to get in touch with Adam. I touched him and he flinced. "Its me" I spoke.

"Oh Alex" I heard a sound of relief from Alec. "Where is she, she wasn't in the room you mentioned. They have moved her" Adam Spoke.

She might be in my bedroom, my mind told me. "I know where she is, here hold my hand" I gave my hand to Adam. We slowly walked to my room. 

I opened the room and got in and to my relief no one was in there. I saw her lying on the bed, in the same red dress I saw in my visions. For a moment I wanted her. She was mine as much as she was his, but I cant. 

Adam ran towards her and started to untie the ropes. Suddenly i felt a pain in my abdomen. Aspen was reaching for me. I took the blue vase from my pocket and drank it down. My invisibility was gone. 

I gave Adam the vase of red liquid and asked him to drink it and hide away before she comes in.

I jumped into the bed as fast as I can and I could see Mia look at me, feeling lost. I wanted to tell her that I will save her, but that was not something I was so sure of.

I traced her cheeks and saw tears coming down them. Until i heard the door open. 

"Haven't I told you not to disturb me when I'm with my love? " I said to Aspen.

She looked at me with a strange emotion. "You traitor" She called and ran towards where Adam and Alex hid. 

Adam and Alec turned back to their forms as spiders and lashed at her. She was taken aback. She took out her sword which had a deadly poison. She was about to hit them until I pulled her from behind and hit her head against the wall. 

Before she fell down her hands went down to my chest and she plunged in the small knife she had in her left hand. I could feel my whole body burn.
